Straight to the point.
What i love about this book is that it’s straight to the point on things you can do to stop procrastinating. It’s clear, simple and direct. I love it. So many helpful tips to be more productive. I’ve read other self help books and most of them have a lot of fluff. I love this one. I first heard it on audible and I liked it so much i bought the book to implement in my life. I also bought his other books after reading this one.

Worth a read!
At 80 pages this is a fairly light self-help book. When you are trying to conquer procrastination, that could be a positive! I thought it was a little light on some information, especially in the final chapter. But, it has enough content and suggestions to give actionable advice and get a reader not only motivated, but started. (THE positive for any procrastinator, right?)What I didn’t like about this book – I found some of the information to be contradictory and some more editing would help this book as well. (“Day 10” instead of “Tip 10” confused me, for example) In some places, the author comes across as condescending and the opening of the book didn’t resonate with me as a procrastinator, but we are not all exactly alike. By the end, I found the text relatable and helpful. What I do like about this book – Of the 15 Actions in the final chapter, I have notes to deal with five that hold me back! I also have a plan to start on what I need to do in two areas where I’m holding myself back. I needed to hear the negative self-talk parts, and I like the very simple: I Want/I Will/I Won’t mantra.Especially helpful may be the recommendation and details on your own personal Code of Conduct. I think many of us do this and find it helpful but when it’s laid out later in this book, it helps solidify earlier text and remind us why it is important to make this a formal process.I recommend this book to readers and wish us all better times ahead to make the changes even though there’s No Time Like the Present!I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Very applicable
This book was a short read, but I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. As a chronic procrastinator, I finally found actionable steps that I can take to kill the procrastination bug. I’m excited to build better habits. Also, this book called out all of my excuses. I didn’t know how many excuses I was making for myself. How much I was settling due to comfortability. However, my comfortability often led to a decline in my mental health and I never knew why. Now I know. So thank you to the author!

I read and listen to mindset and motivation material constantly. This little book packs a huge punch with easy to read and understand steps to take to STOP PROCRASTINATION. I love books that call me out on my crap and then give me useful techniques to break my bad habits. I will recommend this book to the habitual procrastinators in my life and initiate a book club to help them stay on task. Thanks for the wonderful book!

Great read
Daniel Walter has a good group of books revolving around discipline, procrastination, proper mornings, etc. I’d read more of what Daniel puts out as each one has been a good read and very helpful.

How to Stop Procrastinating was a fairly interesting read. I feel like the vast majority of the useful content was consolidated into the 11th Chapter with the tips and tricks section, but overall I did enjoy the read.I think there were a few parts of the book where I felt the author was straying into toxic hustle culture groupthink, but these instances were few and far between. The idea of pushing away family and friends in the name of progress didn’t really sit right with me, but that’s my own personal morals clashing with the authors suggestions.Definitely worth a read whilst it’s on the kindle unlimited plan, but probably not a book I’ll need to revisit in depth.
