Works well. Easy to set up and start using. Only have had a few months but so far no issues. Like the size and not heavy.

Great Chromebook at a great price.
My 2nd Chromebook but first HP. Works great for simple tasks. Graphics are good and screen is opaque so no glare. Size of unit is good and sound quality with top mounted speakers is good not Great. Build quality on par with any other chromebook in this price range. Setup was a breeze using my existing Google account. My only complaint is that the keys and print on each key are very similar (light grey and lighter grey) which can make seeing them in less than ideal light a bit of a challenge. Someone mentioned that the unit has no expansion slot for SD card and this is true but it does have 2 USB expansion ports for external hard drives which are much more capable than a SD card.

So far, so goood!!!
So far we have bought 3 of these Chromebooks. That should be enough said, but I will elaborate! My husb works 3 wks of every month with a total of 11 days off. He stays in the southern end of the state to work & travels hm for the time he is off. In order to eliminate check-in bags while he travels via airline, he reduces to a single, very simple carry-on. We have made a point to double up a lot of items & this Chromebook is one of them! It is very handy & serves his use/purpose over a& over to the point where we have now flowed this over to our first born, who is now a college freshman! This Chromebook is a perfect fit in more ways than one!

OK for a basic web based computer
I got this for a class I was teaching in to people that had chrome books as their only computer. I needed to be able to demonstrate what I was doing i a way that they would be able to match. This worked well and did all I needed to do. You do have to remember this not a full blown laptop running Windows, or another full fledge operating system so you can’t expect it to do everything. I did browsing well and was about to open all the web pages I went to. It ran Microsoft Office 365 ok and Google documents, sheets, etc. without any real problems, just a little slow for some of the more complicated spreadsheets.I would recommend this for someone that only really needs a web machine but not for anyone that really needs a more powerful computer.Marked down one star because of the limit storage

Product barely worked for 5 months; Customer service at HP wants me to pay $20 for calling them!
Horrible product. It was crushing shortly after purchase and after 5 months of use it crashed completely and is not operable. It was never dropped. Nothing was spilled on it. It still looks new! Yet, it crushed completely just as my child was quietly working on her homework. We tried to restart it several times to no avail. The screen looks as if someone spilled some paints on it.Insult to the injury – amazon cannot process a refund for the item which is more than 2 months old (one would expect a computer to work more than 5 months!)So, Amazon suggested I contact HP. To call HP one must pay $20 for this call! This is ridiculous and unheard of! They do not have customer email either. So, you have to c create account on their website and then hope for some luck of them getting back to you though on their own website other users write that even after registering they cannot get help.Horrible product. Horrible company. Do not waste your money like I wasted $200 for a product which barely worked 5 months!P.S. The country of manufacture listed as China. Perhaps that’s why it is such a bad product!

Very affordable and easy to set up/operate.
I’m very pleased with my Chrome book. I haven’t had a laptop for several years and this was just perfect for my needs. I would purchase it again. Highly recommend.
