Great Value for the Price
For the price (230ish) this is a good little laptop. That said, you get what you pay for. It’s got an i3 processor which can handle multiple programs at once, 8gb of RAM is enough for my personal, portable needs (sitting on the couch or on the go, vs my fancy graphic design desktop in my office) once I exited out of Windows S mode, it’s been great.Pros:I like the keyboard buttons, although I keep hitting the copilot button instead of CTRL on the right side.Light weightAmazing battery lifeGood enough resolution most thingsCons:I don’t love the condensed arrow keys, but I’ll get used to themI wish there was a designated button on the track pad area, but it does have some neat gestures available like pinch to zoomOverall, it’s pretty solid so far, and in my opinion, it’s a good value for the price.Just remember, it’s NOT a gaming computer, and its only 1366×768 resolution.

Fits my needs. The right tool for the job.
Been using this for a month and very happy with it’s performance and battery life. It does exactly what I need it to do. I don’t mind the S Mode (which can be easily turned off) and runs all the apps I need it to run. It’s used for basic computing such as web browsing, documents, email, watching videos, etc. and perfectly fits my needs. I think it’s an excellent value for the money. I scratch my head at some people saying this laptop doesn’t perform as well as others that have more memory, faster processor, better graphics, backlit keyboard, etc. and cost 2x-3x as much. Well, duh.

Nicely priced 14″ laptop for basic use
My wife’s laptop wasn’t Windows 11 capable so we needed to get a new one. Her main use is spreadsheets, Word, email and the Internet. This HP 14″ laptop was perfect for her. The speed is fine, the SSD drive is fast and has more than enough room and she adjusted okay to not having a separate numeric keypad like her last few 15.6″ machines did. I’d have been happier with more RAM but it’s working fine for her.
