Fast and Functional
I need Lockdown Browser for my Canvas courses, and it was constantly making my old laptop glitch out and disconnect from the WiFi when I needed to study or take exams. Most people recommended that I get an HP, and I’m so glad that I did! This new laptop is incredibly fast and smooth to use. The anxiety of wondering if I can complete my exams and assignments is totally gone. There is no back-lit keyboard, and no cover for the camera, but these were not features I was concerned about. I’m not tech-y, but I absolutely love this laptop because of how easy it makes taking my online classes. The camera is very high quality for Zoom and recording audio and video. The minimal keyboard is also welcome since it lightens the overall dimensions and weight of the laptop. I also appreciate the top notch quality of the visuals of the screen. I highly recommend this if you just need something to get you through papers and assignments for school. It has really been indispensable to me since I got it.

My hp laptop is amazing
I love my laptop sm, though it has a black keyboard (which was stated), that i initially didn’t like but hardly mind now and the screen is a bit longer than that of my friends which is also 14inches. Plus mine doesn’t have the backlit keyboard thing that was stated and this made me sad at first but now i don’t mind. Regardless of these it’s the best laptop I’ve had and worth my money fr.Oh yeah one sad thing is once you flip it to tablet mode and it laptops screen turns off /sleeps, you can’t tap the screen or nothing to get it back on until you flip it back to the laptop mode and touch the mouse, then the screen wakes up (if you get what i mean) .However, this is a hp thing and other pavilion users experience this but it’s not a big deal tbh, it’s still an amazing amazing amazing laptop! And yes it’s 100% touch screen and goes fully 360😍. It also can go a full day if you charge in the mornings till it’s 100%, you’ll prolly have to recharge at night maybe 9pm (just my experience). I still don’t know where the finger print reader is or if I have that though I think I don’t.

Never turned on
Received the HP Pavilion today, followed set up instructions. Plugged in laptop, powered on….took about 5 minutes to load. Started the set up process, suddenly the screen went black, and power light turned off. Called HP and Amazon to try trouble shooting, they recommended returning the product because it should have turned on even right out of the box as long as it was plugged in. Tried multiple plug outlets as well. Processed a return through amazon. Now I have to pack it up and bring to UPS store. The fan is still running on the laptop but there are no lights on so I have to wait until it completely dies before boxing it up. Customer service was very friendly but I just cannot trust HP at this point so I will be buying a Dell now.

New and still testing it out
Fresh out the box review and first impressions: I was confused by the reviews of people, saying they had a black keyboard and no fingerprint, but the laptop I received looks just like the one in the image, so I have no problems with that. It worked pretty easily, and was easy to set up as well. I haven’t started using it to do heavy data work to see how fast it actually is but I’m hoping that it works just as well as a similar laptop that I used and decided to purchase this one. I had an ASUS laptop beforehand and that was kind of slow and it was cheap so I decided to splurge extra for this and hoping that it ends up working out and if not, I guess I’ll be contacting the seller soon 🙂
