Awesome Laptop !
This was easy to setup and it is light, keys are slightly bigger than my last one(2014). It is quick, quick, quick. What a delight! The only thing I miss from my old laptop is the back lights on the keys. Such a pleasure to use! It’s awesome. Thank you for your description, it was spot on, and then some!

Excellent Computer
This laptop is amazing. I NEVER use the keyboard and touch pad on computers. I always use external ones. With this laptop, I am using both as my only input sources (besides and external mouse at times). The buttons are very responsive and quiet. The touchpad is also pretty sensitive and I have no problem clicking anything. I always use the 10 key number pad to input numbers, so that is a plus on this keyboard; and one of the main reasons I chose this particular laptop. (I hate having to use the numbers at the top of the keyboard, as I input a lot of numerical data.The packaging was excellent, tightly packed and secure. I got a surprise when I opened everything, there was a set of wireless earbuds also included in the box. (That I didn’t order)

HP warranty already expired before purchase
Buyers need to be aware that HP considers the 1 year warranty to have already expired in early November 2024. I purchased the computer on 11/24/2024. I contacted the seller and they verified that they will provide the warranty based on my actual purchase date should a warranty issue arise.The computer has worked well during the first two months of use. I had to contact the seller to get the activation key for MS Office 2019 Lifetime, to get it downloaded and installed. The seller was prompt in replying and helpful.

Shipped in very protective box, easy set up, charges quickly and holds charge well.Updates time was minimal, under 20 minutes, screen is awesome, and this processor is fast!

Broke and out of warranty
This computer arrived on time and worked for only a few days before I started experiencing lockups. Upon testing using hp internal test the computer locks up on hard drive test. HP warranty ran out in November of 2024 I purchased in December of 2024. HP wants me to buy a support contract and the vendor and Amazon don’t seem to have a way to return or get support on a defective laptopDo not buy one from this vendor

I like the computer so far
The biggest takeaway from this buying experience is I was able to use Microsoft OneNote to save my personal notes saved in another computer. That’s a godsend to me. Otherwise, I’d have lost 2 years’ worth of personal notes. Buying from places like costco.com might be cheaper but it doesn’t come with preinstalled MS Office Suite. Other than that, I really like the fact that this computer comes with 36GB RAM, which is rare, given the price. It’s relatively light weight.
