Best laptop I have ever owned!
I have been buying laptops since 2007 and they had all been Dell’s.When my last one could not be updated to Windows 11 I had to look for a new one. I checked out Dell first, but they were all too high and smaller machines for an afarodable price. They no longer offered a paypment plan for me.I looked on Amazon and found this one, with a payament plan, and I must say I LOVE IT SO FAR!!! It has been the best laptop I ever owned.I will be looking at HP for my next one down the road. This is also the same size as my last Dell, for less money than I paid in 2018.It has not had any issues like I normally have with the Dell brand.I highly recommend this unit! I hope it last for a long time!

My wife was overdue for a new laptop.Her old HP was dying after 11 years!!This laptop was one of the best purchases I’ve made. Very fast processor.. windows 11..I’m blown away at the price!!Worth every penny! And, it’s an HP 🤷♂️👍

Good general use PC
We have now purchased a second one of these for my wife. Works well for general Internet surfing. I have used Excel and Word on it and am happy with the results. We deliberately chose no touch screen as we use a second monitor and though the touch screen was unnecessary for our use.

Great Machine but missing one item is specs.
Order a pair of these as both my laptop and my wife’s just became so unfunctional after the Windows 11 grade. Perfect example of planned obsolescence.Thankfully the machine crashes and Prime Days coincided. This model was at a great price and sold directly by Amazon and not a 3rd party.The set up of these machines was quite quick as well as easy.I have that Microsoft is trying to jam Co-Pilot and AI stuff into things, so I just uninstall and turn off all that stuff.Machine is physically the same as our prior machines on the outside except for the dark grey keys on this one.I have been using this chiefly for DB and spreadsheet work, and it has given me ZERO issues.Played some online gaming too and keeps up just fine.I give this 4 stars instead of 5 just for one issue…The description and even the included instructions insert detailing setup and the features of the laptop state that there is a Card Reader Port. There is NOT such. It was not really a selling point for me (the specs and great price were).See the pics and vid showing documentation shows the card reader port but no physically present.One other reviewer of this machine said the screen quality was dim. I do notice that it is a bit more pale but I believe that is just the screen settings and can be tweaked. i have not found to be a huge issue so not played with it yet.The storage is 1/2 T compared to 1 T of the machines we just retired but each of us have a 4T tower, so space/storage is not an issue.An all-around great machine and I do recommend it.

incredibly easy to set up
absolutely perfect!i am not that fluent with technology but this laptop just set itself up immediately. I was able to import all the info i had on my old laptop, including bookmarks. Wow!I specifically did not want a touch screen, call me old fashioned, i like a mouse.Great size, image quality, and runs fast. Sleek and slim, And a great price as I bought a refurbished Black Friday Deal, An amazing deal. Very very pleased!

High quality laptop with excellent built-in features.
This HP 17.3-inch laptop- 17-cp2199nr has a large screen that is bright and clear with a hundred functions. It came with Windows 11 installed and all my files and photos, etc. were very easy to import and this laptop is definitely the best I have owned and built with a good high- quality construction and lightweight for its large size. Amazon prime movies and Thursday night football come in crystal clear with no noticeable delays and the WIFI antennae works great to connect with my home system. The speakers have plenty of clear sound and the large buttons are a plus! Excellent laptop for the price with a huge storage capacity and many easy-to-use features. Great find!

Works Okay. HORRIBLE screen/display quality
Computer is okay. The cooling fan is really loud. I haven’t owned an HP computer since the early 2000’s so figured I’d take a chance on this one for the price. Seems HP still doesn’t know how to make a quiet computer. The worst part though is the screen. It’s the most washed out, horrible thing I’ve ever seen. I have owned this laptop for a few months now and have yet to get the screen quality to be decent. Best I can do is hook it up to my dual external monitors and used those instead.
