**5-Star Review: The Ultimate Powerhouse for Professionals and Creators!**
The **HP 17 Laptop** isn’t just a computer—it’s a revolution in productivity and performance. From multitasking madness to creative projects, this machine handles it all with jaw-dropping ease. Here’s why it’s earned a permanent spot on my desk (and in my heart):**Unmatched Performance:**Fueled by the **Intel Core i7-1255U Processor** and a staggering **64GB of RAM**, this laptop laughs in the face of heavy workloads. I’ve effortlessly juggled 20+ browser tabs, video editing software, and complex spreadsheets—*without a single lag*. For developers, designers, or data analysts, this is pure firepower.**Stunning 17.3” HD+ Touchscreen:**The massive **touchscreen display** is a game-changer. Whether I’m sketching designs, presenting slides, or binge-watching movies, the vibrant colors and crisp details make every interaction immersive. Plus, the touch functionality adds a layer of convenience that feels luxuriously intuitive.**Speed Meets Storage:**With a **1TB SSD**, boot-up times are lightning-fast, and files load in the blink of an eye. I’ve stored terabytes of projects, media, and software without a hint of slowdown. Say goodbye to external drives—this laptop is a vault with runway-ready speed.**Sleek, Professional Design:**The sleek **silver chassis** strikes the perfect balance between elegance and durability. Despite its large screen, it’s surprisingly portable for a 17” laptop, and the full-sized keyboard with numeric pad is a dream for data entry. The HD webcam? Crystal-clear for Zoom calls, making WFH a breeze.**Connectivity Done Right:**With **HDMI, Wi-Fi 6**, and multiple USB ports, connecting to peripherals or dual monitors is seamless. I hooked it up to my 4K TV for a movie night, and the results were flawless. Windows 11 Home also brings a smooth, user-friendly interface that’s perfect for both work and play.**Minor Consideration:**The 17.3” size might be bulky for frequent travelers, but for desk warriors and home users, it’s a worthy trade-off for the stunning screen real estate.**Final Verdict:**This isn’t just a laptop—it’s a future-proof investment. Whether you’re rendering 3D models, editing 4K videos, or running virtual machines, the HP 17 delivers desktop-level power in a portable package. **5 stars aren’t enough—this is a game-changer!** 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟**Who Needs This Laptop?**- **Professionals** drowning in multitasking (developers, engineers, content creators)- **Creatives** craving a vibrant touchscreen for design or editing- **Students** tackling resource-heavy projects or gaming on the side- **Anyone** tired of sluggish performance and cramped storageDon’t settle for less. The HP 17 Laptop is the Swiss Army knife of computing—versatile, powerful, and ready for anything. **Worth every penny!**

Great quality laptop
My husband loves this laptop. I bought a new laptop for my husband from Best Buy. I bought him an Asus. It’s supposed to be one of the top makers of computers and boards.Well unfortunately it died after 8 days!? Completely dead! Wow! And what a hassle returning it!When we got home, I opened my trusty Amazon app and searched laptops with the highest ratings. This HP came up, I started reading the reviews and everything sounded great. When it arrived y husband was so happy to see how big it is. What a beautiful clear picture on the screen and set up was a breeze! It’s a big laptop but it’s portable, we take it with when we travel. The battery seems o last a long time and its a great quality product for the money. I love the numeric keys on the right side, they’re so handy. My husband is very happy with it and I am thrilled that it’s working great and he’s happy with it.

Large keyboard!
This is a larger laptop with a larger screen that makes it easier to see. It is easy to use and set up. The keyboard is a good quality and it looks very expensive. It’s worth the price

Garbage computer
So far this product is a complete piece of crap. From day one this computer struggled to start up correctly. Now, some 10 months later, I’ve had this computer into the repair shop twice to deal with a computer that freezes up after a couple of minutes of operation. Found out that the hard drive is very sup-par and that the PROM needed to be updated before the first use (which I had no clue). Will be sending this piece of junk back to HP. Buyers be ware.

Great work tool, but not so great…
…media consumption device due to the screen angle. The screen must be at just the right angle to get the whole screen visible otherwise it darkens at the edges. Also, my previous laptop had a 1920×1080 screen. This screen is a definite downgrade in sharpness.I don’t use Windows anymore, so I immediately replaced the SSD with a new one and installed Linux Mint on it. It took a while, but I got Mint configured to where I’m happy with it.The touchscreen works under Linux Mint, but I prefer it to be off, so it’s turned off completely. Linux has a way of disabling (or re-enabling if desired) the touchscreen. The touchpad is too sensitive. If you press it just a little too hard, while navigating the screen, the cursor wants to select everything that it contacts. It’s a pain in the butt to get it out of that mode, so I use a USB mouse most of the time, instead, which is fine for work, but not so good if you want to use the device on your lap. Also, I find that a 17-inch laptop too large for my tastes while using it on my lap.Processing power is great. The processor shows up having 12 cores. It’s speedy enough to handle multiple virtual machines (VMs) running at the same time (4 running concurrently). With several VMs running at the same time, I’ve come nowhere close in peaking out the 64 GB of RAM.There is no AI in this version of Linux Mint and I’m completely fine with that. In fact I relish not having any built-in spyware from Microsoft.Power consumption is nowhere near what my previous laptop could do. The battery will only last about 2.5 to 3 hours depending on the workload even with “power saver” mode engaged. My LG laptop could go 4.5 to 5 hours under daily workloads. Speaking of power, there is no charging through the USB C port. That would’ve been another deal-breaker if I’d had known about it before purchasing this device.Final words: Your Mileage May Vary (YMMV). It will be highly dependent on your needs. Is it worth the price tag? In my opinion, no. I wouldn’t buy it again knowing what I know now, but it is what it is and I needed a replacement immediately, but didn’t want to spend much more than a grand on it./
