Great machine with plenty of RAM and SD drive space. 32 gig and 2 TB drive. Plenty fast for what I need, but the main thing I like is this is lightweight and a dream compared to the 7 lb boat I replaced.Great seller as well. Next day UPS shipped to my door.Only thing lacking is sound isn’t so great, but it’s a “business” model. I also miss my backlit keyboard, but I’ll get used to this. This is a true LAP top machine for me, for my every day in the recliner use. NO BLOAT WARE installed.Thanks Amazon for your ideas, yes, it’s easy to use and was simple to set up. YAY!

BOUGHT TWO AND NEITHER POWER UP AFTER 2 AND 6 MONTHS!!!
Our nonprofit bought three of these. One we had to return without even opening it because somehow during transit the box got wet. The other 2 are no longer powering up. As the instructions show, I tried to contact HP for this and was told even thought we only bought them in 2 and 6 months ago, their warranty’s had already EXPIRED!!!!! When I bought it it looked as if it was coming from HP, the seller acts like the warranty is with HP, but that’s not true at all… Neither of our laptops even came with a packing slip so I have no other serial number to give HP. I’m at a loss and can NOT believe this has even happened!!!!

It is All what you can expect from HP laptops in this price range. Good speed and decent memory. I was looking a compact size with num pad. I would have prefer a smooth finished as in the high end version and I would have really appreciated a backlit keyboard

I regret buying the HP 255 G10. The screen is absolute trash washed out, dull, and the colours shift the second you tilt it even slightly. It feels like staring at an old display from 2005.It’s advertised as “FHD,” but it looks more like a cheap panel you’d expect on a $200 budget machine. If you care about visibility, colour, or even basic viewing angles, stay far away.The laptop itself might be fine for basic work, but the screen completely ruins the experience. Spend your money on something else this was nothing but a disappointment.

When I bought this Latop Amazon said it was a good replacement for the one I originally ordered because the one I ordered was not available. In fact it was not with less memory and Ram then in my original laptop I trusted Amazon and they deceived me by selling me an inferior laptop so do your homework and don’t be mislead like I was !!

After 4 months computer started having wifi connection issues. No responce from seller. Contacted HP support and they said warranty is almost expired and I should purchase extended warranty. Thought this was supposed to 1 year warranty. I think i was sold a used computer with prior issues. Dealer with HP for help. Seller none existant.
