Great little microscope. My little ones have enjoyed this very much since receiving it for their birthday. Image quality is good. Easy to operate. Great for reading reading extremely small texts.
I have a hard time seeing small items due to my age. I already have reading glasses throughout the house and handheld magnifiers for additional help. But, from time to time, I still run into things that I can’t read even with all the gadgets I have on hand. I bumped into this one with up to 1000x magnification power. It may be classified as a toy for kids, but it’s a great tool for me. Upon my testing, I am very pleased with this handheld microscope for the following reasons.For example, reading the small text information printed on a AAA battery is quite a challenge.(1) The glass-based magnification power is up to 100x, then adding the 10x digital magnification to reach 1000x magnification power. The image is pretty clear. I am happy.(2) There are 3 light settings. It helps a lot to see things clearly.(3) The focus dial is easy to operate.(4) USB-C-based charging is universal.I didn’t test its photo-taking capabilities or photo quality. I didn’t operate it by connecting my laptop to the microscope through USB. Those are not my intended usecase.All in all, I am pleased with this microscope. I would recommend it to folks who have trouble reading extremely small text.

For the price and everything this microscope does, it was a true pleasant surprise. It works perfectly for me. I like using it for details with coins. There’s plenty of lighting options and the option to turn off as well. Super bright options and with option for HD and Different LED colors. A memory card is also included for video and photos. I think for being an inexpensive item it has superb quality. I have so much fun with use of. I’d caution only that a little more advanced skills and motor skills would probably would be needed for the youngest. As there’s some technique with handling and focus. Otherwise pretty basic and simple to use. A miner complaint only for me is it shuts off after every 10 minutes with a sound letting you know, that is quite loud and can definitely alarm you. That’s nothing compared to my overall satisfaction. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Bought for our granddaughter and grandsons, after a learning curve on how to use it, the novelty wore off fast. For a younger child, not the easiest to comprehend and use. For what it is, average value and average function, not to intriguing nor exciting for our grandchildren.
