Great for securing devices in public places for short duration
I take my laptop to events and shows where I man the table. I was looking for a easy to carry portable laptop lock for my new laptop which doesn’t come with lock like the old ones did.This product came in real handy when I had to leave the booth unattended for short breaks. It’s very strong and easy to attach to any laptop or tablet. For just 19 dollars, I can protect more valuable assets. It’s reusable, so I can keep using it when I change laptops.

It’s worth adding a security for your device.
I use separate MacBook Air for my personal learning and training which is a never ending thing being in IT, and I use this 2016 Macbook Air like a beater, I take it with me to coffee shops, libraries and its has always been my travel companion. Its security had always been a concern for me especially when I am in urban areas where theft is common. I was looking for an easy solution without spending a lot of money, and found this. This cable lock has been some relief to my concern. Its design is very thoughtful, securing laptop firmly (although I had to use adhesive security plate for my Mac), and best of all, it’s not expensive and ready to go for your devices’ safety. Hopefully, I would never have to test its reliability. To people who have concern about adhesive security plate and your laptop’s look, its a small trade-off I was okay to live with for the sake of safety. Honestly, I think having this lock on my Macbook itself has deterred some potential thefts. Only thing I wish it would come with additional security plate so I could use the same lock for my office laptop when needed. But nevertheless, it’s worth it.

Great laptop lock for the price
It’s a decent laptop lock, works as expected, comes with two keys, locks into the laptop, and lets you tie it off by wrapping it around a table leg. Also, if you want to lock an ipad or something without the correct lock spot it has a metal plate with double sided tape that can be stuck to the back of your ipad to allow you to connect the lock. They even used the 3M VHB tape for the sticker, so I know that stuff will stick very well.This lock is definitely enough to prevent casual theft and people shoplifting stuff from a store. I don’t think it’s quite strong enough to stand up to bolt cutters or something, but for the price it’s a great deal.

Cheap piece of junk.
What a piece of junk! It was easy to place the “female” end of the lock on the laptop. The “male” end would not insert properly and after trying to manipulate it in and excepting just a little force it snapped off. Procrastinated putting it together so I missed my return window. Shame on me… Cheap materials. Too difficult to connect for being a simple lock. Shoddy construction.

Works as advertised
The only thing that could be better is the lock size, it is a little big for slim laptops. The lock is prying up due to sitting on the lock when just on a desk. It is not much and the lock as a padded connection so I don’t think there will be any harm.

Surprised by how cheap this guy is. But it works amazingly!It also seems easy to be able to use this one lock on multiple devices if you purchase multiple back plates.Slim and not very intrusive design.

Don’t waste your money. I bought this at the end of February and installed it the first week of March. The product lasted less than 4 months. The security attachment itself just snapped. Unacceptable.
