Classy leather, MagSafe muscle, zero wobble — wish it had a kickstand
I use a lot of Kordiz cases, and this one for the 17 Air feels right in line with their best: clean design, soft lining, and that “breaks-in-nicely” leather that should pick up a tasteful patina over time. Out of the box the buttons feel crisp, the inside is plush, and the back has a ridge that runs the width so the phone should sit flat on a desk instead of see-sawing while you type. That’s a small design choice that makes a big day-to-day difference.MagSafe: Even without a phone in it, the magnet ring snaps to chargers and accessories with surprising strength. Based on my other Cordy’s cases, I expect it to hold fine on MagSafe stands, wallets, and car mounts; phone weight can change the feel a bit, but the magnets here seem legit.Protection and fit: The camera lip is raised enough that the lenses should be safe on a table. The case doesn’t try to be a tank — it’s slim and simple — so if you want drop ratings and corner bumpers, this isn’t that. But as a daily carry that won’t bulk up your pocket, it hits the sweet spot.What I liked- Leather feels premium without being slippery; will likely age well- Soft interior to keep the back of the phone scratch-free- Full-width ridge on the back keeps the phone from rocking on flat surfaces- Strong MagSafe attraction for chargers and accessories- Clean, minimal look that plays nice in professional settingsWhat I’d change- No built-in kickstand (you can add a MagSafe stand/loop, but integrated would be nicer)- No extras like lanyard point or wrist strap option- Can’t speak to port/speaker alignment yet since I don’t have the 17 Air in handCompatibility notes- Should work well with MagSafe chargers, stands, wallets, and grips- The front lip looks modest, so it should play nicely with edge-to-edge screen protectorsSmall heads-up: There’s a card in the box offering 20% off if you share a photo on Instagram. Nice perk, but it didn’t affect my rating.Bottom line: If you want a slim, classy leather case that keeps your phone steady on a desk and plays nice with MagSafe, this is an easy pick. I do wish it had a built-in kickstand, but that’s the only real miss for me.

Excellent quality case that is minimalist but offers great protection!
Ordered this as an extra case because I liked the look of it, but when it arrived, I liked it SO much that it became my main, everyday use case LOL. It’s a premium looking – and feeling – item with perfectly bonded, REAL leather which is full grain but highly scratch resistant and hearty. It’s a “matte” finish as most leather of this type is, so it’s fingerprint resistant as well. The case fits the iPhone 17 Pro Max perfectly – all the cutouts are precise and well notched so the buttons operate normally without the need to press really hard etc.The case is comfortable and soft to the touch, it has a nice lining so it protects your phone on the inside AND the outside, and it’s a nice minimalist design that does not add any bulk to the phone itself whatsoever. It has great protection on the corners with TPU style bumpers that keeps those padded and safe in the event of a drop or bump. The front and the camera area also has a lifted “lip” that protects the bezel on the screen and also the camera lenses from accidental breaks. This is a lot more important than you think – I won’t have a case on my phone WITHOUT this at this point as I have never protect the screen of an iPhone (and I’ve had every since one since the first one in 2007) but I HAVE cracked the glass on the back camera twice now (!!). It wasn’t a hard fall – in fact, it wasn’t a fall at all – just a bump that definitely should NOT have cracked it…but since it was right at the exact spot where it’s most vulnerable, voila. It’s not an expensive repair BUT it is a tedious and annoying one…so I would really rather avoid having doing that again LOL. So yeah…the lip that lifts it slightly when you set your phone down on a table…MATTERS a lot.The MagSafe magnet on the back makes good contact with mounts, chargers etc and is pretty powerful – so no complaints there. It’s not visible on the outside of the case but it’s there and it works great.Overall, this is a nice quality case – it’s a bit more expensive than the typical leather case of this type but it’s “mostly” worth it – I feel like maybe $39.99 is a better/more equitable price point for this. I didn’t take a star off for this since it is in case a very nice case…but a lower price point would most definitely make this a better value overall. I would still recommend it, of course, since it does present as a premium case that is very nice looking and feels durable.
