Bought this to trial on my older model toyota highlander. Works great with my Honda. Finally can get to use car play without hustle. The setup was easy: plug in, follow instructions step by step and you will be able to use the car play without worry. It’s just that easy. Additionally, it seems no lag, playing super smooth.

Interesting CarPlay Device With HDMI Mirroring, but Not Perfect for Everyone
This CarPlay device definitely stands out because of a couple unique features. It connects wirelessly to your phone like most adapters, but once it pairs, you’re given the option to choose either standard CarPlay or an HDMI mode. The HDMI feature is what makes this device unusual. By plugging in an HDMI cable, you can mirror all kinds of devices directly to your car’s display — your phone, a tablet, or even a small streaming device.This can be great for passengers watching movies on long road trips, and it adds a level of versatility you don’t normally get with CarPlay adapters. The downside, though, is that while you’re mirroring something through HDMI, you can’t use CarPlay’s GPS at the same time. Since navigation is something I rely on heavily for trips, that’s a pretty big limitation.I tested it using my iPhone with a USB-C to HDMI cord. It worked, but I did run into a couple hiccups, like the video playing without audio. After unplugging and reconnecting a few times, it eventually sorted itself out. The picture quality is also capped by your car’s screen resolution, so it won’t look as sharp as it does on your phone.Overall, it’s a creative and feature-rich device, but for my everyday use, I’ll probably stick with my smaller wireless CarPlay adapter. It’s more convenient and better suited for how I normally drive.

What a great little gadget. This small box turns your car screen into a screen for both your phone and entertainment needs. The setup is simple, it takes less than a minute to install and is pretty much self explanatory. It’s lightweight and petite so there really is no clutter on your console. It really makes driving a whole lot enjoyable.

Working well for my Toyota!
Unit improved my cell phone connection to Toyota Rav4 2019. Previously I had to physically connect each time with cable. But now it’s is working via Bluetooth.During work I make 10-12 stop to see customers. Connecting and disconnecting phone each time worn cables, I changed them frequently. But now issue solved ,connection is flawless. Size is compact. You will not even notice. Good for working people.
