    Absolutely Incredible Mouse
This mouse is amazing. It fits perfectly in my hand and is comfortable to use through a whole 8 hour work day. It has a helpful and customizable LED lights that change color based on battery life or the polling rate. It is super lightweight and the wireless mode is absolutely lag free. The replaceable modules are one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a mouse. They allow you to either have clicky buttons and/or deep and bouncy buttons. I landed on a super quick clicky left button and a bouncy less clicky right button and it’s perfect for me. All of the mice’s functionality is configured via your browser instead of through a dedicated program. This is very convenient to me since I have it setup on multiple computers, but it does require an internet connection which could be an issue for some folks. Once the settings are set in one place they carry over to the other computer without needing to configure them in both places. There are settings that allow you to correct involuntary movements your hand naturally makes when trying to move the mouse that are game changers. For example try to drag your mouse in a straight line really fast. It’s hard to do with a normal mouse. This mouse has features that straighten it out for you and once you try it you won’t be able to use normal mice anymore. The feature is that good. In addition to that you can pretty much customize every other aspect of the mouse. You can set any of the buttons and scroll wheel to do pretty much anything you want them to do. You can change the speed of the X and Y axis independently or set the polling rate from anywhere between 125 to 8000. 8000 works great but it does impact CPU performance. I set mine to 4000 and that worked perfectly for my setup. The only cons are the manual and the battery life. The manual explains enough to get you going but it doesn’t explain how the modules work. I had to check the Amazon listing to find out which modules did what which wasn’t ideal. Battery life doesn’t last quite as long as a normal mouse if using high performance mode. I use this mouse 8-10 hours a day for work and for gaming and it last about a week before I need to recharge it. I just plug it in overnight though once a week and I’m good so it’s not too big of a deal. The value of this package is unbeatable. The modules alone would’ve made this worth the cost but the added movement features and the ability to customize pretty much every aspect sends it through the roof. Once you’ve used this mouse you won’t be able to use a normal mouse ever again.

  3. I’m not a cat.

When you’re looking for better than “that’s already good enough”.
Advertised at 32,000 DPI and an 8k polling rate: that’s some precision and fast timing — and absolutely overkill for regular office and productivity use. For perspective, the vertical mouse I use at the office maxes out at 1000 DPI and 125Hz. For gamers where the difference is all in the reaction and timing? Every advantage that the hardware can offer is one less hindrance. Do note that the stock profile maxes out at 6400 DPI; to go any further, one MUST connect the dongle to Palmlab’s “Nexus” site to change the DPI settings, lift off distance, sleep time, button settings, and save them to different profiles. There is no software to download; whether that is pro or con is up to you.My current wired gaming mouse with its honeycomb mesh shell weighs in at 59 grams and has a 8500 CPI (DPI) “TrueMove Core” sensor (co-developed with PixArt, of which I surmise is related to the PAW3333). Weighing in at 65 grams, this PalmLab has a larger PixArt PAW3950 sensor, a full shell, AND wireless capability, is a marvel of design. Note that while the regular PAW3950 sensor is designed to 30,000 DPI, this PalmLab is touting a version that’s 32,000 DPI and can be set up to 45,000 DPI on the site. Use of the 2.4GHz dongle or USB-C wired is a must; Bluetooth has too much latency and the protocol limits the maximum polling rate to 125Hz.Having swappable switches is a nice touch and allows one to pick their preference. Despite its light weight, the build construction is solid with no creaks or squeaks on the body. A spare set of glides and precut grips are included; the latter is a DIY option. With hours of use already, it’s as accurate as it claims — but having top spec components isn’t going to automatically transform everyone to be a top player either. Realistically, there is a point of diminishing returns on the hardware as the true limiting factor is the individual themselves; I’m certainly admitting that the capabilities of this mouse surpass what I’m personally capable of as I don’t have the steadiness for the high DPI nor sub-1ms reaction time. With no faults encountered, this is a solid option for those seeking out a gaming mouse that offers top specs.
