Comfortable, Sturdy and Spacious
This large lap desk turned out to be exactly what I needed for working comfortably away from a traditional desk. The large size is genuinely roomy and fits my 17-inch laptop perfectly with space to spare.I work from different spots around my home and needed something stable enough for a full-size laptop without feeling cramped. I chose the large version specifically for the 17-inch sizing, and it works exactly as hoped.The surface area is generous — my 17-inch laptop sits securely without hanging over the edges.The cushioning underneath is comfortable on my legs, even when I use it for longer periods. The built-in wrist rest adds a nice touch of support during typing.The mouse pad and phone slot are convenient and help keep everything in one place while working. Perfect for my computer and mouse. Or if not using a mouse, more room for tv controller or….I got it a little big, so it doesnt sit on my lap, but sits on armrests of my recliner/rocker chair. So free legs and no heat. Its light weight too so easy to lift up and set aside.. perfect table for anything. If I do push it down on my lap inbetween the armrests, its very comfortable on my lap. When I sit in the other chairs without the armrest on each side it fits perfect on my lap. Seems to be well made.

Love this! So comfortable. The mouse pad is better than my regular one. Very sturdy and laptop doesn’t slide. My only wish is that the slot for the phone were deeper – since my phone is in a case it doesn’t fit.

Great! But, warning for if you’re short.
I’m impressed with the quality of this desk. I specifically wanted something that would fit my laptop and mouse, and this is perfect. The wrist rest is helping with wrist fatigue.The only thing is, as a 5’2″ person, the desk is slightly too long for my thighs so it sits slightly past my knee when I sit down and doesn’t feel as stable as it could. Definitely not the fault of the desk, the dimensions are shared, and maybe every lap desk would be the same size so it wouldn’t matter. I simply didn’t think to measure my thighs when purchasing! I’m going to keep using it as it’s still fulfilling the need I had. Just, if you’re short like me, maybe see if there’s something out there with a bit less length.

Surpassed my expectations!
I spent a couple of hours comparing lap desks for my laptop and I am so happy I chose this one. It is sleek and modern, comfortable, lightweight… overall just what I needed! Very stable and easy to carry from one room to the next. I can just pick the whole thing up and carry it with my mouse, computer, phone, headphones, etc. which was nearly impossible to get it all in one trip before. Highly recommend.

Wrist Rest + Stability = Better Couch Computing
This is my second lap desk from LapGear — I liked my first one, but this upgraded version with the wrist rest is much better. I use it with my 14″ MacBook Pro and a Logitech mouse, and everything fits comfortably. The built-in phone slot is also a handy spot for SD cards while during editing.Quality is great, it feels sturdy, and comfortable to use on the sofa thanks to the cushioned bottom. Overall, it’s perfect for anyone who works from the couch or wants a stable, ergonomic lap setup.

The Perfect Lap Desk for Laptop Gaming
I purchased this product with one intended use in mind, laptop gaming, and for that it’s perfect. My setup includes a 15.6 inch laptop along with a wireless mouse, and this lap desk gives me the ideal space I need for my gaming purposes. When seated, the desk sits comfortably on my lap, without feeling oversized, bulky, or unbalanced. I was originally concerned the “mousepad” would be too small, but after many hours of use, I can confirm the mousepad is plenty big enough for my gaming needs. One thing to note about the mousepad, however, is that it’s very “slippery”, and if you are sitting reclined as I often do, my mouse has the tendency to slide off the mousepad if there is any tilt to the desk whatsoever. Not a huge issue but having to adjust the desk to be perfectly level or flat on my lap so this doesn’t happen took some getting used to. On a different note, I am very picky when it comes to my gaming setup, and I wanted a product that was of high quality, practical, stylish, and ergonomic, and this product checks every box. I chose this product over other similar products as this was the only lap desk I found that has the raised edge to hold the laptop in place centered in the “laptop space” of the desk, rather than centered across the entire length of the desk – if that makes sense. Because of this, since the laptop is perfectly centered along this raised edge, it is held in place nicely and I have no concern that it will shift left or right when I’m using it. Additionally, the phone holder only exists to the right of this “laptop space” and therefore the rubber feet of my laptop will not fall into it, a design flaw I noticed of other similar products. To add to this point, the phone holder is a very nice addition which securely holds my phone upright and in a sensible position. In all, I appreciate this product as a whole, it was thoughtfully designed and does its job well. For the price point, the product looks and feels worth the price, the plastic top is robust, and the padding underneath is contained within durable fabric. In conclusion, I look forward to gaming on this lap desk for many hours to come, and I can highly recommend this product to any potential buyers, both gamers and casual users alike.

So, I work from home, but I don’t have a traditional set up. I am very short which makes it awkward to find a desk/chair combo that doesn’t ultimately end up with me extremely uncomfortable.I had been working on a Chromebook perched on my lap for several months before my spouse bought this for me. It’s very light, and the cushions on the bottom make it feel like you just have a pillow sitting on your lap. It fits my Chromebook perfectly, with plenty of room. As advertised on the product info, I would not think anything larger than a 15″ laptop would be usable on this lapdesk, UNLESS you had no plans to use the mouse pad with an external mouse. I hate laptop touchpads, and always use an external mouse.I have also used this lapdesk to hold my keyboard on my lap, while i’m using my desktop PC, and it’s 100x more comfortable than using a keyboard tray (which are generally useless to me since I have to jack the chair up so high). I find the height of the lapdesk to be perfect, in that my hands and arms are at a good level to avoid carpal tunnel or strain injuries.I don’t care much for the “device stand” above the mousepad. it’s not deep enough to really hold your phone, which will pitch off the side if the table even moves a little bit. Instead, I use it to hold my earbuds when i’m not using them. And I also wish the small shelf bit (where you would rest the edge of your laptop) was optional/removable. Sometimes I find it to be an annoyance.Overall, I love this lapdesk, and recommend to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation as myself, or just likes to use their laptop on their actual lap.

It is an ideal desk for working in bed. For those WFH very versatile and practical. He,ps save on heating when can work from bed. If any thing it could be slightly wider and longer and have a pen holder so you can also fit your note pad on there
