Extremely impressive waterproof kit
When I chose this First Aid kit from SurviveX, I noticed it was waterproof. I didn’t think much more about it until the kit arrived. The design of the bag is very impressive. I feel like I could be on a river raft and lose this kit, find it down stream and still have dry first aid supplies. I have sone of the zip tie style wound kits from this company and have found them to be a fantastic option since we don’t live near a town with a hospital. Stitches can take a hour drive each way. The zip tie kit from SurviveX included in this kit, has solved that problem for my husband in less than 5 minutes.The exterior is a rubbery surface that gives the bag grip and the waterproofing mentioned above. The zippers are tight and move smoothly. The zippers are also waterproof so they are different from a typical plastic toothed zipper. There is even a pocket on the front with nothing in it that the end of the zipper tucks into a pocket to give the area a water tight seal.I am totally impressed with the features, layout, products provided and the quality of the bag itself. I would recommend this bag for family outings, to have on an any type of pontoon boat or regular boat or water vessel at the lake or gulf. If I was in charge of a group of kids or teens at a water park, I would want to have a kit like this one on hand. It would also be a smart idea for any outing when rain or snow is a possibility since it could end up affecting the area where the first aid kit is stored.The price at the time of this review is $120. This kit is a pricy option for my budget. I have written this review from the perspective that the person purchasing this first aid kit is comfortable with this price point and wants something high end and well made. I have first aid kits, to compare, that were about half the price of this kit that do a very good job giving me all the products I need to care for my family or friends. So in my opinion, spending this much is not a necessity for a good first aid kit. This price point does provide a sleek look that I have never seen before in a first aid kit with an impressive waterproof exterior and very well organized interior. The labels and organization makes this easy to use and to restock. It is also more compact than any first aid kits that I own that have a similar number of products and quality of supplies. Someone wanting a compact, water proof and well designed kit, I think this is a great value.I hope my thoughts and photos help someone.

HIGHLY impressed with this.Nice RED kit. You always know it’s a first aid kit. It’s got a nice MOLLE attachment straps on the back to easily put this on the back of a Tactical vest, on a tactical bag, etc.I’d say this is great to throw inside another bag, but this is big. It may fit in another bag, but this thing was designed to be easily accessible.Once you open this bag, there is a shoulder strap that you can use to carry this from a long strap instead of mounting this to a MOLLE mount.This does have Molle cuts on the front as well, so you can attach other Molle things to this and keep them close.Open this up and it’s very well organized and very well stocked. It’s clearly marked for what you need and are looking for.Something most people dont think about is what happens if someone gets hurt at the dark of night? This thing has 2 glow stick in there so you have some light.There is stuff in here for major wounds to minor cuts. Even has some burn gel and cooling pack. There are foam bandages and compression bandages.It even comes with a first aid guide manual with instructions and pictures of what to do for basic first aid.Of all things in this pack, i’m not seeing any bleed stop granules. :(This is a really good kit. I will be keeping this in my 4Runner so wherever my wife goes, she’ll have this close by.Would i recommend this? Absolutely. This is one of the best first aid kits i’ve seen.1 thing about this. This says waterproof. So this would be good to take on your boat, kayak, canoe, or whatever else on the water. Just beware…. the “zipper” is super hard to Lock closed and to open it up. I guess that’s because of the waterproofing, it has to be extremely tight, but i feel like i’m going to rip the zipper off trying to close this. Because of this, i gave this a 4 star. If i need to use this on myself and have a hurt arm… i am probably not going to be getting into this.
