Solid
Great specs for the price point. Feature are a bit bare bones, no backlight on keyboard. Despite that it’s a great little laptop especially for the money

Decent plane jane biz. use notebook is my guess.
This guy is thin and lightweight, a big bonus for biz. users that use it in a mobile sense. Nothing really sticks out as special here and the price shows this too. While being very decent for the pricing and intended market I would say it’s not a super panel display, sound or battery life for other performance/gaming uses. It does have a fairly capable CPU for this form factor considering cooling and battery mA available while keeping the weight down.I feel it’s a good choice if:* Your business tasks are productivity-centrist: spreadsheets, web-based apps, light photo editing, documents, etc. The i7-13620H gives you strong headroom of CPU performance with a rather limited display.* You value portability and a 14″ size that’s easier to carry.* You are budget-sensitive and this machine offers a lot of performance per dollar.* You won’t be doing heavy graphic design, color critical work, or relying on extremely bright screen for outdoor use.You should consider upgrading/being cautious if:* If you get the 8 GB RAM: for business multitasking (many browser tabs + virtual meeting + spreadsheets + maybe virtualization) you should upgrade to 16 GB.* When you need a display with high brightness, wide color gamut or you’ll use it in bright lighting environments.* This laptop will be used for long battery-life away from power outlets, especially under load. You might want a better battery or lower-power machine.* You care about keyboard backlighting (for darker environments) — check the exact configuration.* I found it short on USB ports and the power connector uses the one USB-C that it has, very limiting!* I typically hate the touch pad with corners as left/right mouse clicks. The buttons under the pad usually go flatand stop working in short order, then it’s to an external input device you must add using one of the USB ports.* You almost need to buy with a USB hub or docking bay on day one for the above reason.

Ok for regular consumers
The finish on the case and keyboard is very nice. It’s like textured but not annoyingly. I removed Windows because it required internet to even setup (microsoft is evil) and installed alpine linux. Everything worked without issue, and I even got wine with Silksong running perfectly fine. The fans never seemed to ramp up to loud levels but I monitored them and they were running so that’s a big bonus. The inclusion of an ethernet port is only reason I got this. I also put in a 8GB DDR4-3200 sodimm I had. The other 8GB in the laptop I assume is soldered in. That is a terrible business practice that Apple has tried to make mainstream for capitalist greed. I don’t know how well dual channel memory works with different sized memory but regardless this thing is locked at 16GB dual channel because of this. The bios boots pretty quick, which I can’t say for any of my other lenovo laptops and desktops. Intel has also come out with a new way of screwing over consumers with a new wifi protocol called CNVIO2. It’s basically a m.2 port that communicates with the CPU differently than PCIe, and Intel has decided to make that port proprietary so that people would be locked in to Intel wifi cards. They also used capitalist greed and made the new CNVIO2 port not backwards compatible with CNVIO. I was going to upgrade the wifi to a mediatek mt7922, mt7925, or mt7927 but now I can’t.ProsGood CPU for laptopsSomewhat upgradeable RAMNice FinishEthernet port so good for IT or office useUpgradable 2280 ssd, comes with 2242? and adapterConsCPU does not have intel iris graphics, it’s just old intel graphicsSoldered memory so limited in dual channel memory configurationsNo keyboard backlightScreen is nothing specialComes with windows so it costs more than it shouldLocked down proprietary wifi protocol masquerading as a standardized m.2 PCIe AE key port.Overall, if you want a small laptop and don’t understand half of what I said, this is an ok laptop. I recommend that you do understand what I said though because these business practices will get worse the more people don’t understand.3 stars for the proprietary wifi and soldered memory.

Great price, great performance, lightweight
This is a great little laptop. It has a fast processor (CPU) — the Intel Core i7 is a great workhorse. I prefer more RAM than the 8GB that this machine offers, but it is upgradable to 16GB. The hard drive is upgradable to 1TB but if you use the cloud for storing files, the existing 256GB should be enough. It just depends on what you plan on using this for. This is not a gaming laptop. It is lightweight, and would be very easy to travel with. I used to travel with a 17″ laptop and boy, that was crazy. My shoulders ached. This weighs like 1/4 of that!I added photos of the ports on both sides. The USB-C port is for the charging cable. There are a few other ports including ethernet, HDMI, USB and audio.
