Very nice computer
I’m very happy with the purchase. Nice computer with everything I was looking for. I believe it will serve me well. Was a little disappointed to find that it was a year old, though new, but the warranty only had 3 months to go, so I had to pay to extend the warranty.

Things to be aware of
The laptop arrived in great shape and was packaged well. I was curious that when I started it up, as part of that process, I got no prompts for registration. Going to the Lenovo site, I discovered that the serial number is associated with the United Arab Emirates. I’m fairly certain that I now have it associated with the U.S. and my name, but there are only 3 months of warranty left through Lenovo. I have submitted my invoice to Lenovo and am awaiting a determination on whether the warranty will be extended based upon my purchase date. I still gave 5 stars because I am not angry, but felt that others should be aware.

Good computer, but major issue
I bought this laptop (Lenovo ThinkBook 16, 13th Gen i7) expecting it to handle everyday business and multimedia tasks with ease, and in most ways, it does. Fast processor, excellent RAM (64 GB), solid build quality.But here’s the problem no one mentions: the built-in HDMI port only outputs video, not audio. I plugged it into my TV expecting to stream video and sound like every other laptop I’ve owned over the last 20 years, but no audio. After lots of digging, I found out this is a design limitation. The HDMI port is wired for video only. No settings, drivers, or updates can fix it.If you want both video and audio through HDMI, you’ll need to buy a separate USB-C to HDMI adapter that supports audio. This is something Lenovo should be upfront about, but they aren’t. It’s a frustrating omission in an otherwise premium device.Great laptop, but be warned if you rely on HDMI for presentations, TV output, or streaming.
