    Just what I was expecting
Cooler is well made, it’s still plastic so it’s lighter but you can tell the quality. Comes with a replacement filter and the RGB tho basic it looks great with different modes to choose from.Foam seal is next level, paired with the powerfull fan it forces air through gaps my laptop didn’t even know had. Big impact in temps and though it gets loud (you can adjust the rpm, it can be quiet too) nothing a pair of headphones can’t deal with, specially if you’re here for temps.

    Amazing, Worth every penny.
Absolutely fantastic, My alienware X15 R2 likes to sit at 100c running any game and fans will scream when opening a web browser, this pc is tryna cook itself, I also undervolted it and it still hits 100c. Upon using this cooling pad i was able to get an extra 30 fps on rust, and keep my temps around 80-85c, better temps and performance, absolutely amazing. and thats having the fan speed around 80%, its loud at max but its totally doable if your around 70-80%, if you have headphones it wont bother you at all. i was skeptacle about the price, but this thing was totally worth it, its saving my pc and making it perform like new again, with great temps!

    Definitely Cools!
I was a bit hesitant for the single fan option (and the foam pad that seemed like it would just constrict air flow). But this works great (even on lower settings). I gained well over 1000 points on benchmark performance testing due to cooler GPU during test.As another example, the computer I have gets really hot (like hurt my hands to touch the keyboard) when it sits with the lid closed. In the picture provided, you can see that the insided of the computer when I opened the lid was 120 degrees (ouch)! But just after 60 seconds sitting on the cooler (with the lid closed still) running at just 1/3 power (1000 RPM), you can see a significant drop in temperatures all over the computer. As for the noise level, the higher RPMs are a bit louder, but then again, so is the “cooler boost” option on my laptop, which helps, but does not cause computer to cool as much as it needs to to to efficiently run high resource VR games. With this cooler, I can us it at just 2/3 power (not very noisy), and computer cools much more than with indigineous cooler boost, and my VR games run much smoother.

This is the one to get for larger laptops, best buttons compared to IETS
UPDATE — After having streamed with it, like the IETS 600, it’s not a perfect solution my computer still runs pretty hot. I’d say maybe there’s a 5-10% reduction in temps, I crank it up to about 1800 rpm for gaming/streaming.I do believe this fan is quieter than the IETS 600, another reason to pick this one up.Per the original review below, the power button is rather unpredictable to operate, it usually doesn’t work, I’ll live with it. Otherwise the color changing buttons are fun, but I can’t turn the LEDs off, no key combo I can find does that.————–Original review:I had a “cheap” cooler over the years, but lately I’m trying to stream and play games on my laptop. It’s a gaming laptop, and it ran really hot, certainly hot enough to get CPU throttling at times, though I never tested for that. We’re talking Core Temp reporting peaks of 100 degrees and average temps in the 80s-90s.At rest, with the Llano fan at 1000 rpm, my Laptop 3060 GPU is reporting 37 degrees, as opposed to 48 degrees on the old cooling stand. (the old one is a Thermaltake you can’t get anymore)I haven’t gamed/streamed yet with the Llano cooling pad, I’m mostly writing this review to constrast this with the IETS 600 cooler using the same MSI Pulse GL76 laptop.BUTTONS — the plusThe reason I returned the IETS 600 cooler, it was working (not as well as the Llano at idle, though). But the button drove me crazy! They are “solid state buttons” meaning there’s no movement in the button. It’s just sensing your fingertip. On the IETS 600, all three buttons are like this. You’ll read below why my laptop was overhanging these buttons, but it was frustratingly impossible to make the buttons do what I wanted on the IETS600.Much improved design is on the Llano cooler pad here, yes the on off button is a bit tricky and honestly as I write this I can’t turn the thing off. But the fan control is a roller button, it’s great! I can control the fan speed exactly where I want this running, no fuss, no frustration. Honestly I can live with the power button I’ll just turn the fan down to 300 when the laptop is off, if I can’t get the power button to work. And I have had issues with iPads in the past where at most angles my finger isn’t recognized, so maybe I’m weird and the buttons will be fine for you.FIT – a minus on both cooling pads, but you can make it workHere’s the real problem with these coolers and they can’t really “fix it” unless they make a new foam piece for different laptops. Before you buy this, check out the bottom of your laptop. Do the cooling vents come to the edge of the base of your laptop? Then let’s hope it’s only on one edge, otherwise this cooler won’t work for you.Basically, you set your laptop on the foam base and it makes an air seal. That means ideally there’s at least about a 1/2″ edge with no cooling vents around the base of your laptop. In my case, on the left side, the vents come right to the edge. In the back, they are within 3/8″ of the laptops “rear edge” (the rear base is not a straight line on these MSIs).So this seems to work, I have the laptop barely sitting on the foam in the back, not at all sitting on the foam on the left side (just butted up against the foam to make a seal) and the bulk of the weight is on the right and front edges of the base. But your mileage may vary and you may find you can’t use this type of cooler, depending on how funky your laptop base is.RISK — don’t blow up your built in fansIf your laptop is anything like mine, apparently the fans are regular maintenance item, like brakes on your car. You just expect them to go out. Mine did after two years, and I replaced them recently. Now think about what this cooling does, it forces air into your laptop. If you force air into your laptop at a high enough rate, you create positive air pressure (higher than ambient pressure). If you are pushing air into your laptop so fast that there’s positive pressure, then you’re probably making your laptop’s fans race along faster than they want to go. I would assume there’s a point where the air being moved through the laptop, at higher rpms, will be too much.Bottom Line…So bottom line I strongly recommend this model even with the issues related to funky laptop bases where the cooling vents come to the edge. It cools my laptop a bunch at idle, I’m sure it will work as well as the the IETS 600 or better, but I’ll maybe update this once I stream/game with this setup.

    Laptop Cooler… Nuff said….
This is one cool fanthat has a thick build. It has a pretty lengthy cord supplied with it. The build quality is good and is very sturdy and versatile. The case is made out of plastic, but don’t let that fool you. The quality is good and the fan is very powerful so much that you can feel the airflow through the laptop. That being said, it is very loud past 1000 fps and will go as high as 2300 I believe. If you have a good set of headphones you can hardly notice it. It is recommended to put this on a flat table surface for best results not to block airflow. Overall good product.

    Portable Hurricane for Laptop
I realize that my computer always runs hot. even after cleaning out fans and changing paste and whatever. So I bought this.Literally drops your temperature by 20° to maybe even 30° some games that I couldn’t play before in the past because of temperature, I can now play because the fan cools my laptop down enough to where it doesn’t throttle my CPU. Super easy to use haven’t had any issues with it build quality is pretty nice. Does feel a little cheap, but it works great. And cheap. I mean plastic doesn’t feel like high grade plastic, but I mean if it works it doesn’t really matter. The light up number that shows you, the fan RPM. Does not bother me at all. It’s just dim enough to tune out of your sight but bright enough to see you on your set up.

I’ve been using the Llano V12 Cooling Pad for a while now, and it’s honestly one of the best cooling pads I’ve ever tried! The build quality is excellent, and the performance is outstanding—it keeps my laptop cool even during heavy use. The fans are quiet yet very effective. The seller also provided amazing service! I had a minor issue with a part, and when I reached out, they responded quickly and professionally, sending a replacement without any hassle. Truly exceptional customer support that reflects the brand’s quality.Highly recommend this product to anyone looking for effective cooling and top-notch quality! 🔥💻

The Llano RGB Laptop Cooling Pad is an undeniably powerful piece of equipment, and it lives up to its promise of significant cooling for gaming laptops. However, it’s crucial to understand that “powerful” here often equates to “loud” at its highest settings. This is a bulky unit, designed to deliver serious airflow, and its maximum cooling performance definitely comes with a considerable amount of noise. You’ll want some good noise-cancelling headphones if you plan to push it to its limits.I personally use this with my 16-inch Lenovo Legion 7i, and it’s a perfect fit for the cooler’s generous top surface. It does an excellent job of keeping the laptop cool, which is vital for reducing the strain on the laptop’s internal fans and, perhaps more importantly, preventing dust from being sucked up into the bottom vents and clogging the system. In my opinion, dust accumulation is one of the biggest long-term cooling problems for gaming laptops, and the Llano’s “air chamber” design seems particularly effective at mitigating this. When I’m gaming, I typically find my sweet spot between 300-600 RPM. This range provides a great balance of effective airflow without the fan drowning out the game’s audio. At these speeds, the sound is not unpleasant and is easily negligible over game speakers – my partner and I barely notice it. This makes it comfortable for extended gaming sessions without needing headphones purely for noise mitigation.Overall, while this is a pricier cooling pad, I believe it’s absolutely worth the investment if you’re looking for something truly efficient. The unique “air chamber” design ensures more air is directed through your laptop’s cooling system, leading to genuinely lower temperatures and helping to prevent dust ingress. Just be aware that its size makes it less than portable – this is a cooling pad designed for a dedicated desk setup, not for throwing in a backpack. For the serious gamer or power user who values sustained performance and laptop longevity at home, the Llano RGB is a perfect, albeit stationary, companion.

My GPU was always at 90 degrees while rendering. Now it’s at 66 degrees. But it comes with a price, noise. But you will find the point at regulating the fan intensity, you will not use it at full power all the time, I mean, what if my GPU is at 72 degrees instead of 66 degrees?I have tried many cooler pads, even the small exhaust on the side of the laptop, but nothing really worked. This does. I TOTALLY recommend it.I have a ROG STRIX SCAR II and no need to fry more eggs on it…

Why did I get it?Working 12-14 hours with a gaming laptop (zephyrus duo 16, 6900hx + 3070ti) with that high pitched fan noise makes you go insane eventually. I despised the noise so much I was considering spending an extra 5k rebuilding my desktop tower system and throw my laptop into trash.Does it help reducing gaming laptop temperatures?Yes and no. Yes it does help cool the laptop better by creating a vortex of cool air blowing underneath the chassis, but unless you’re in quiet/silent mode the temps don’t drop at all. However, it prevents the chips from throttling and instead it unlocks the true TGP. Prior to getting this fan I was barely getting 150w of sustained TGP from cpu+GPU combo. Now I’m getting nearly 250w. Makes you wonder how scummy all those marketing material of laptop makers + Nvidia are that you need an additional fan just to get the advertised performance out of your machine.Raw GPU TGP before: barely reaching 100w as thermal throttling reachedAfter: 130w easy with maximum boost reaching 148wRaw CPU TGP before: I never allowed it to go past 30w due to extreme fan noise of the laptop itself. After: I guess it can use 90w as advertised (Radeon iGPU disabled at system level so it’s not even active, all that juice goes directly to CPU)Is it loud? So you can adjust the fan speed by 100rpm increments. Working in Browser + medium creativity tasks I set it to 300/400rpm and I don’t even have to wear headphones anymore as the hum of this fan drowns the noise of laptop fan.For gaming, you definitely need a noise canceling headphone as the typhoon noise created by this fan exceeds any noise created by speakers. Was considering getting the Razer fan, but I’m glad I didn’t. I’d throw money at razer’s competition all day every day. Razer tax + their customer service don’t deserve your hard earned money. Even though I bet you anything both of these fans are made in the same factory.
