I am extremely impressed with the Madison Supply Nurse Scissors. Better than regular scissors in the kitchen
These scissors also work very well in the kitchen for cutting food like vegetables. The serrated blade edges work well for slicing green onions, cilantro, or food stems.

Cheap throwaway trauma shears, great to just have on hand
For cheap, throwaway trauma shears, they are fine. A little loose feeling, the cutting action, but they seems to work ok. Not a lot of use yet on cutting various materials, but they do cut lighter materials fine.

I think these are the best shears hands down. I loathe those dainty little finger holes on regular scissors, I’ve got a beefy thumb, so I need a girthy thumb hole on my scissors/shears! This is the second time I’ve purchased them not because they’re not up to the job, but because these things are built like Panzer, tough as nails, black or green they are perfect for your field kit, very chic, very fashionable. All joking aside, the work very well, are easy to use, cut pretty much anything I have had to cut. I just think they’re awesome. I keep a pair in every vehicle I have just because they are so useful.
