Stable, adjustable stand that improves posture
We actually use this on two desks at home. My son uses it on his desk, and I use one on my work desk. It looks nice, keeps things organized, and the base is sturdy enough that it doesn’t tip over. I really like the functionality, it spins smoothly, making it easy to turn the screen to show someone, and the different angles help match the height of my extended monitors. Raising the laptop also helps keep it cooler, and even when angled downward, the support holds it securely without slipping.The size works well and is compatible with our laptops(HP Zbook and dell xps) and fits comfortably on both desks without taking up too much space. It’s been compatible with the laptops we use at home and feels well made for the price.

Difficult to move around but once settled, it’s an amazing stand.
We love Magic John and this doesn’t disappoint. That being said, We only needed to set it up the one time and not move it around everywhere. If you’re traveling with this, it may be too much of a pain. Having to keep the Hex driver around and work each screw will be a huge chore for sure. But this is a high quality stand. Overall, it’s easy to assemble. It’s foldable, I can make it any angle I need it to be. It IS adjustable, just not easily. Overall, if you’re a MJ fan, there is value in this.

Quality made but hard to adjust
I will start by saying the product does feel and look well built. However, it is a little deceiving to me because I thought I would easily be able to move the stand position and stuff without much effort. To adjust the stand you have to loosen hex screws with an Allen wrench and then re tighten them in the position you want.I have a large laptop, that did probably exceed the recommended size, but I was unable to adjust the stand in the position I wanted and tighten it enough to get it to stay like I wanted. For a smaller laptop it might not be as difficult.It does adjust in lots of positions and spin around, but the use of the screws at each hinge point makes it so much less adjustable than I had hoped for.If you want a solution where you set it and leave it in that position most of the time. It would work well for you. It looks good and seems quality made. However if you want to constantly move or adjust the stand this one is going to get frustrating really quickly.

360 rotating laptop stand.
I was really curious to see if this laptop stand would actually hold my laptop like it claimed because some of the foldable stands I’ve tried didn’t hold up very well. The joints on this one are pretty stiff, which is great since they don’t sag at all. It had no problem supporting my 16-inch gaming laptop. I especially appreciate the 360-degree rotating feature; it doesn’t spin freely when touched, as it locks in place, which is very useful. If I had to pick on something, I’d say the front lip that holds the laptop could be a bit bigger since it might not be high enough for some thicker laptops.

Solid and stable, but very stiff
This laptop stand is extremely solid and well built. Once it’s set in place, it holds the laptop securely and doesn’t wobble at all, even with larger, heavier devices. The rotating base is smooth once positioned, and the overall design feels durable and high quality. I used it for a portable monitor for my steam deck and its works perfect!The adjustability options are great for improving ergonomics and getting the screen to a comfortable viewing height. It also folds down nicely for portability, which is a plus if you move between workspaces. No assembly required and a very good value.The main downside is that the joints are very stiff and tough to move, especially at first. Adjusting the height or angle takes noticeable effort, which can be frustrating if you like to reposition your setup often. Still, if you want a stand that stays exactly where you put it, this one does the job well.

Not suitable for the advertised use of elevating a laptop computer
Adjustment of this device requires loosening/tightening six different hex screws. It comes with a 4mm hex wrench that’s only 2-1/2 inches long, with which it’s impossible to tighten the screws enough for it to work with even a relatively light MacBook Air. The hex screws are apparently a little out of spec, so even the best hex driver fits a little loosely. As a result, the screws are likely to be damaged by cam-out of the driver, resulting in stripping or rounding of the head.Once you get it adjusted, it’s impossible to type on the computer without it bouncing up and down, making it impossible to use without a separate keyboard.The claims of “no wobble” and “thick weighted base” are humbug. The base is made of the same 1/8-inch aluminum as the platform that the computer sits on, and is not “weighted” in any way. The entire unit weighs just over 2 pounds.It’s hard to imagine any situation in which I would feel comfortable leaving an expensive laptop perched on this device. If I did, it would be useful only for display. Interacting with the computer while it’s dangling a foot in the air on this device as shown in the seller’s description is out of the question.
