Heavy, buggy and battery drainer
I bought this specifically to read online books from Oreilly’s, but the experience is buggy, constantly exiting the book. The app works flawlessly on my phone.The battery drains fast. Every time I grab it, it was completely discharged, even if I kept if in power off state. Totally useless paper weight.

Arrivato in tempi brevissimi, molto prima del previsto, ottima confezione, molto curata, ma avrei preferito la qualità dell’apparecchio, nulla di gravissimo ma abbastanza fastidioso, cioè, nel girare le pagine, molto lento, a volte, vorresti andare alla pagina successiva, lui invece torna indietro, a volte anche di tre /4/5 pagine e altro problemino, io scelgo di vedere in basso, il numero della pagina e il numero delle pagine restanti, lui da solo cambia opzione in quante pagine alla fine del capitolo, piccoli difetti che però danno parecchio fastidio, per il resto, nulla da dire, durata della batteria ad una settimana usandolo la sera 2/3 ore altro difettino che mi è venuto in mente ora è che non passa in automatico lo schermo da giorno a notte…

This is an excellent e-book digital ink reader. I installed the kindle and kobo app on it and downloaded the books. It is quite responsive and fast. Then the display is really clear and crisp apart from the high resolution. This means that you can read for hours without tiring out your eyes. Then the build quality of this device is better than that of a Kobo or a Pocketbook in my opinion!

Das Meebook M8 ist ein gutes E-Book Lesegerät. Im Gegensatz zu meinem bisherigen E-Book Reader dem PocketBook InkPad 3 Pro ist das Meebook sehr viel besser in der Bedienbarkeit und Reaktionszeit! Im Vergleich aber mit einem normalen Smartphone extrem langsam! Der Akku hat eine geringe Kapazität und lädt mit max. 7 Watt. Je nach Bildschirm Frequenz kann man mit dem Gerät zwischen 8 – 48 Stunden arbeiten. Die Fps lassen sich für jede Anwendung voreinstellen. YouTube Videos sind möglich (S/W).Vorteil: Die Kindle App ist problemlos installierbar und die Bücher lesbar.Nachteil: Da es keine Updates für das installierte Android 14 gibt, ist unklar wie lange die Kindle App nutzbar sein wird.Fazit: IMHO für 299€ zu teuer und zu geringe Akkukapazität! Die für 29€ bestellbare Hülle ist sehr schlecht, da man keinen Halt an diesem Origami Teil hat! Ich benutze die Hülle meines alten Pocket E-Books.

È esattamente quello che cercavo – ebook con la possibilità di fare gli appunti. Inoltre posso leggere i libri online, visto che ho l’abbonamento in una libreria, oppure scaricarli direttamente su ebook. La qualità dell’audio è da migliorare e intendo dire l’audio per ascoltare audilibri e non i video. Il libro è leggero e maneggevole. Insomma, nel complesso sono soddisfatta.
