The book that started it all…
This February book was what started the lovely obsession to collect all of the calendar kids books (at the time my 5 year old was turning 6 in February so I searched for a bday book, February book explaining why the month is so special and I specifically bought this one because it’s her bday month but upon reading it she loved it! It explained all the great things that happen in the month and a personal story, it’s all around a great book! I have to order January to have it ready when the year is over because when my daughter saw there were more she wanted to “save up” work extra well at school and clean up after herself at home and asked for the rest. So since Feb I’ve surprised her with the book of the month… we are in June and I already have July just waiting to show her! Already have August in my cart! And I can’t wait for the rest!September/October/November/December! It’s extra motivation for my daughter to work extra well in school and at home for them. I follow the page on Instagram when I see the author’s working on a new month I myself get so excited! Once I’ve bought all the books I will begin with the plush characters! Great buy, great read and great animation! I could totally see these characters as coloring books! My daughter loves to color and draw! I would totally buy them if they’re ever made into coloring/activity books!!These would also be great for bday gifts!!

Ruined cover if book!
Love these books for my grandchildren so they can learn about the different months of the year. However, the first book arrived with a parent info sticker right in the middle of the cover. Tried to get it off, but it leaves a sticky residue behind. With all the places you can put it (inside, back cover etc…) why right smack in the middle over the characters face???

The Calendar Kids Book Series is darling. Every book has a great character, fun story and the illustrations and beautiful. Highly recommend for any preschool – elementary age children’s library collection.

I needed to add some February books to my first grade classroom library and came across this series. I am officially a fan and NEED every month. All the important events are included plus the extras that make the month fun. It all fits perfectly into a cute little story. I love it!

Cute story to teach kids about the month of February
Disclaimer: I ended up returning this book because it was a bit too advanced for my child. It’s got a cute story line and concept, but is definitely meant for kids older than 5. I didn’t like the quality of the book and images. It felt flimsy since it is not a hardcover.
