Good starter for VR, get an external head strap battery.
There was soo much anticipation and doubt with this thing before I ordered it. Now that I have used it for a while I’m rather surprised. First off, the shipping was fine, the packaging was fine, no damage and I had no issues with the price. First VR experience as a Tech freak and I’m blown away by what it’s capable of. I know since my experience is limited to this quest 3s, I’ll need a few more to compare it to. I used my roommates quest 2 and I know what I have is better in that regard. It’s great that I can run some emulators sideloaded. RetroArch runs but don’t expect gamepads to plug and play without some configuration. Ok so it runs VRchat ok. Know that there is no warning for loading certain worlds that are not optimized so the quest 3s will stutter and crash from too much going on. Last night I had to do a 10 second power button hold to restart the headset. I love watching movies with this thing. Using JBL tunes660nr. It’s Bluetooth and sounds great. The built in speakers are not bad but know that what your listening to will be heard by others in the same room on low volume. I don’t blast out at full volume often. The glasses spacer is junk. My lenses are scuffed. Your not getting prescription lenses from Zenni optical if you have progressives. They don’t support it. I’ll need to find another option and figure out how to replace the factory lenses. Build is ok, controllers need a grip set. They were made to be dropped so meta makes more money. Can’t say the wrist strap rings work well. I bought a grip set to protect controllers. I use my quest every day for three plus hours and the battery life is incredible up to a whole week on a single AA per controller. I bought rechargeable batteries… Be aware that your batteries may die without warning. Indicator will show full battery life until dead. The head strap sucks. The quest pulls forward and is uncomfortable without an external head strap battery to balance the weight. By the way, your headset battery life is 2 hours. You need to plug it in or use the head strap battery for longer use. The visuals and resolution is good. I watch YouTube at full screen with good quality. 720p is great. 1080p is a bit of a gamble with buffering possible. Look what it costs to what you get…. I got a lot for what I paid. Overall?… I’m satisfied.

This product was delivered quickly for me and was easy to set up. This is 100% worth it if you’re not wanting to spend $500 for the 3, it’s good quality and very fun to play. This is a great gift to buy for Christmas since it’s coming up!

Pretty cool!! I don’t know too much about the vr headsets. This one though is really cool. You can get meta + and have a lot of games to play from!! Watch YouTube!! Message on WhatsApp. Hook it up to your pc and play games in a large theatre!! It’s comfortable, not hard on the eyes, can play hours without my eyes hurting!!! It’s great if you want to get exercise! Play ping pong, baseball, bowling, basketball or anything with boxing which will help your cardio big time!! I haven’t found huge need for the larger memory, 1 month in and 128 gb is perfect I have about 20 games downloaded!!! The only thing I will complain about is the battery life. If you’re planning on playing games a lot or watching a lot of media get yourself a very long charging cable cause the battery runs out quick it feels, even with a battery saver mode on. Outside of that, I would highly recommend anyone who’s getting into the vr to try it out!!!

Essential Tool for Muralists
This is an amazing piece of technology for muralist. I use this to map out mural designs on wall and it saves me SO MUCH TIME. Download the app StencilVR and it works perfectly. Just make sure you have adequate lighting on the projection gets a little wonky.This purchase has already paid for itself 10x.

Fun family introduction to VR — worth it, but set up supervision for kids!
This is our first VR headset, and there was definitely a learning curve getting everything set up. The Meta/Horizon account process wasn’t too bad, especially if you already have Facebook, but setting up “supervised” accounts for our two kids (who don’t have FB) took some extra time and patience.Once it was all running, though, the kids love it — especially playing Gorilla Tag! The experience is super fun and immersive for them.Battery life could be better — we get about 2 to 2.5 hours max — but honestly, that’s probably a good natural break point anyway. The headset does feel a bit heavy on the neck after extended use, especially if you’re new to VR like we are.Overall, the Meta Quest 3S has been a great entry into virtual reality for our family. If you have kids, I highly recommend setting up supervised accounts rather than giving them free rein in the VR universe.

I owned the original quest and my son broke it. He has been begging for a new one. It is much better in terms of functionality and image quality. However I did not do my research before buying. I think quest 3 is lighter and has better image quality. Watching shows on this you will feel the weight on your face. In general the vr experience is top notch

Great for people who can’t get out much!
It is amazing to use these. I watched a concert with them. The artist walked right up to the camera, and it felt like she was just inches from me. She looked completely real. These are great for elderly also. It allows them to look all around the world as if they were there. You can set it so you can use it sitting down, without any risks of falling or crashing into something.

Quest 3s é um ótimo custo beneficio se você nunca teve experiência em realidade virtual pode ir de 3s sem medo vai ser um experiência absurda agora se voce já teve um psvr 1 ou até mesmo um quest 2 junte dinheiro e vai de 3 sem dó por ele ser 4k 512gb nao que o armazenamento do 3s seja um problema instalei mais de 10 jogos e ainda tenho 30gb livre e eu comprei o de 128 gb e nao me arrependo nem um pouco mais se for sua primeira experiência de vr e esperar nao for um problema vai de meta quest 3 que voce tmb nao vai se arrepender estou usando a 1 semana o meu e estou amando pretendo ficar com ele e comprar o 3 mais tarde

VR is quite amazing and this headset works very well. Just hope they’ll have more “single player” apps in the future (I’m not into games). I don’t do group things like car racing, baseball, etc. I prefer educational and health related apps

Arrived three days early, package was a little damaged but nothing was harmed inside.As for the Quest itself, it works very well for my use as it’s my first VR headset, my 12 year old brother loves it too. There are quite a few very fun games for it, both in standalone and in PCVR mode, as well as some incredible community made mods for existing games, like Half Life 2, Halo CE and Far Cry.I was a bit concerned about the sound quality but the speakers are actually quite decent, they have great spatial audio.I’d certainly recommend getting a third party strap with it however, since the base strap is rather uncomfortable for wearing it for more than 20-30 minutes. The battery life isn’t amazing, only up to a couple hours or so if you’re playing more demanding games but plugging in a power bank isn’t too hard. And you can always just play PCVR games if you’ve got a decent computer for longer battery life.The resolution is actually not very high and it’s rather obvious when looking at menus, especially since I’m used to looking at 1440p flat-screens. But it’s not much of an issue when in-game.Overall, a great buy IMO, at a reasonable price especially compared to other headsets.

Unbelievable to get this so cheap. You can get cinema experience for movies which is insanely cool AND is not really straining the eyes so you can keep watching for a long time. And Instagram is all converted to 3d so that’s cool. The only annoyance is you don’t get windows follow you, they stay in place unless you carry them yourself
