Honest Review
Honestly came in perfect. Packaging wasn’t bad and nothing seems wrong with it.Pros:A good wireless headset for those who don’t want to be cabled.The quality is pretty good especially coming from an index.Pretty easy to setup and connect to my pc.Cons:The battery life is pretty low. Only 4 hours without the full face tracking activated. With it is only 2 hours.The weight of the headset is mainly towards the forehead which can feel uncomfortable after long periods of usage.I’m not a fan of quest controllers but its more of an opinion.Overall: Most of the cons you can easily solve like battery banks if you are a true vr user, A head strap to distribute the weight, and I use index controllers so I’m good.

Loving the purchase
Upgraded from the quest 2, best upgrade possible.Tracking is amazing, though the facial tracking is kind of weak, but it might just be the models I am using.Easy to set up right out the box.Only complaint is the battery life. Really need to get a battery pack to extend the life otherwise you’re going to be tethered to a charging cable.

Controllers are abit janky
To be fair. The headset hurts my forehead slightly after prolonged use so I’ll adjust it for for comfort. Only lift from sides I try to be careful not get my fingers touch the sensors on the bottom. If I know I’ll be eating or might sweat or feel tired I will switch to my quest 3s, as it’s more durable. The quest pro tracks my face well and I seem to be the the entertainment point from my friends group. I noticed people are more willing to chat with me more directly as the conversation exanged feels more real and they are aware I’m looking at them/paying attention to their face instead of looking away. The only other downside I’ll have to say are the controllers. Sometimes even when I have all the light needed they won’t track well. Or the controllers tend to “overheat” and will automatically stop tracking right. Which can get super annoying. I only figured a way for continuous tracking is if I’m not using the controllers to press on too many buttons, just kind of in chill mode. Or when it’s mid day sun is shining through I’ll open my window and it will do me some justice. Some recommend getting the index controllers for better tracking however you would need the base stations for them to work but you cannot pair any other controllers with quest pro as the controllers have cameras on them.

headset comes in used even after buying it new
the headset was ok. came in controllers bugged wouldnt stay connected. the right lens top right corner has burnt spots. passthrough was screen tearing and i saw green red and blue colors on my hand

Better value now that MSRP is down
I bought this for VRC in a face tracking and eye tracking has worked really well. It works better than my PC which now forces me to upgrade. The cost is a little high. I’m still paying it off, but I’d still say it was worth it because I got it at a better price than the retail release price.

Good, as expected
Package arrived safely, headset works great so far after setup.Biggest problem is the comfort but that is a known issue with the Quest Pro, recomend getting a comfort kit/top strap aswell.

Killer visuals and face tracking
My son upgraded from the Quest 2 to the Pro and it’s SO MUCH BETTER! It’s disappointing they discontinued it because it does some cool stuff. The face tracking looks really cool and your avatar’s mouth moves in sync with the works you are saying which is very noticeable vs the other avatars whose mouths are not. The visuals are outstanding as well. The only CON is how it fits on your head…to get it to stay on it needs to be quite tight and it gets uncomfortable. We did end up buying the better “comfort kit” to go with the Pro.
