Just like playing the old-school games
My adult son loved this from the first time he saw it. He only played with it for a little while and said it was just like playing the old-school games, except it’s so small that it’s hard to play with adult-size fingers. He said it definitely has a good selection of cool games, and it made him long for the full-size arcade games again.His 10-year-old was dying to play it as soon as he saw it. He’s the one I actually bought it for. He said it is “awesome, ” a really cool little arcade,” and that it was “very fun playing the games my dad used to play when he was my age.” He said it is easy to operate, except that the buttons aren’t labeled, but it doesn’t take long to figure them out. It’s easy to switch games even though he sometimes had to click the reset button a few times to switch. Other than that, everything works great and he is absolutely sold on it!His twin 4-year old brothers are also dying to try it, but they’ll have to grow up a bit more because it wouldn’t last long in their little hands. Instead they like to watch him play and can’t wait to get bigger so they can do it themselves.As for me, it’s a unique and cute little game system that charged quickly and easily.

So incredibly fun
I bought this for my 8 yo for post tonsillectomy fun and was a bit nostalgic over the games I used to play as a kid. He has absolutely LOVED this. Volume adjustment is great and the games are fun. If your kid is used to the fancy technology of iPads and such it might be a disappointment as the technology/graphics are low but my kid hasn’t been brain melted by tech. So he is in absolutely love with this game. Unfortunately the little joystick broke off yesterday (he is a gentle kid and wasn’t abusing the game) leading to much sadness. We super glued it back on but I’m sure it’s just a temporary fix:( overall though I’d still recommend it

Awesome with the classics
I bought this as one of the Bday presents for my boys white and green. They can’t stop playing with it. My older son connected it to the TV and says he really likes how when he loses the game does not start over but continues from the last point reached. My younger one said this game is favorite becomes it has different sonic games including 3D. He also loves the Guku game. Makes me feel so good when my boys think I’m a cool mom for finding what they enjoy and surprising them. I totally love all of the options like the flat rectangle battery,(comes iwuth the game) or USB (also comes with the game), or conventional batteries, and connectors wire for TV play.

Good collection of third party sega games
This is the only way to play third party games from sega, like x men or Batman returns. So far it works, I did not play all the games but the ones a played did work. When you plug it in to an hd tv the games are a bit off then a older tv. Sometimes there are a little lag and the health bar is cut off a little but not for every game. It did not bother me because I am just happy to be able to play it. It might run better on an old school tv from the 90s. Also here is a tip that works for me, not sure it will for you. When switching between games if you are in one, reset it then turn off and back on to get to main menu. If you just reset to main menu and play, the unit will start to crash in seconds. So when I powered off and on after the reset, no problems.

Knob broke off.
This game has been a huge hit at our house for the past six months. It has tons of games, good sounds, and my kids absolutely loved it! But, today the knob broke off while a kid was playing the game right beside me. Nobody has been playing rough on it and it has been well. Taken care of. I definitely expected this game to last at least a couple of years. I would love to see the manufacturer replace it. I will let you know if they do. OK I would have gone straight to the manufacturer, but could not figure out how. So sorry about that.
