Stellar Screen Protect that Withstands the Test of Time
I am the biggest fan of this company and their screen protectors. I first got a screen protector of theirs back in 2020 for my 2020 iPad Pro. I used the Pro very heavily for my university studies. That tablet was thrown into backpacks, dropped screen-first on multiple occasions, and written on with pencils (both apple pencils and otherwise, don’t ask). There is not a crack in the screen or a single scratch on that original screen protector after five years of extremely heavy use.I bought the same screen protector for my iPad mini. It has held up remarkably well as expected. The screen protector gives a paper like look to the iPad without the friction from similar screen protectors. This makes it easier to write on the ipad in my opinion. The screen clarity is not affected terribly by the matte finish, in my opinion it’s actually quite clear. I love this screen protector because it is also fingerprint resistant. Applying this screen protector is very seamless and honestly the easiest application process I’ve ever experienced. I highly recommend this screen protector for its durability, function, protection, and ease of use.

Wow. Nice, tactile, matte, anti-glare finish for my iPad Mini. The kit for applying the screen protector worked like a charm. Easy to use. Only negative is that it makes the screen slightly harder to read in bright direct light conditions.

Smooth as Satin, Tough as Nails
I love this Mothca matte screen protector! It reduces glare, resists fingerprints, and feels silky under my Apple Pencil. Easy to apply with no bubbles. Makes my iPad Mini feel premium and protected.

It feels great
It’s hard to describe what it feels like without actually feeling it, but it’s so SOFT. Almost silky. It doesn’t really have the friction and grittiness of real paper, but it works well enough on my iPad mini. It definitely has a bit more grit than the regular iPad screen and the Apple Pencil feels good on it.I rarely use the iPad outside in the sun, so I’m not sure how it is in natural bright lighting, but I’ve never had a problem with visibility indoors.Installation is straight forward and I love that it gives a frame to set up. Be aware that the frame might not be perfectly aligned and that the screen protector is a few millimeters short from the edges of the iPad mini screen. Mine isn’t perfectly centered, but it’s good enough for me and doesn’t drive me up a wall. I haven’t had any problems with bubbles with installation.The screen has a bit of a thickness to it, but it doesn’t affect my drawing on Procreate or handwriting in notes.All in all, I love it. It’s a good deal for two and as long as you’re not messing it up with installation, one protector should last you a long while.

I was fed up of constantly cleaning fingerprints from regular glass screen protectors, so after reading other reviews and viewing video reviews I decided to take a punt on this product for my iPad Mini 6.I was concerned about how much a matte screen protector would affect the display quality, having had other paper feel type screen protectors in the past.I needn’t have worried, with the lack of fingerprints and the reduced glare, I think the picture quality is just as good as with the tempered glass screen protector I had on previously.As other reviews have stated, this screen protector, while matte, doesn’t feel like the paper type ones, but is more like the feel of a frosted glass bottle or drinking glass, silky smooth with none of the grabbing you get when you run your finger over regular glass screen protectors.The included fitting frame makes getting a centralised position quite easy, although the protector is a tight fit in the frame, so if you don’t have it tight up against the inside of the frame you may need to reposition it.The screen protector has a small clear border and with the wide bezels of the iPad, it looks very stylish once fitted.While this is expensive ish compared to all the generic tempered glass protectors available, you do get 2, so I think it is good value given the quality.I would suggest fitting it in a steamy bathroom to take as much dust out of the air as possible, I didn’t initially and ended up having to fit the second one, as while I maybe could have fiddled about with the supplied dust stickers to remove the trapped dust, I had a second one so didn’t bother mucking about.

I’ve tried a lot of screen protectors for the iPad mini, but this one is easily the most satisfying to use — especially if you’re particular about texture and touch feel. The surface feels incredibly premium, almost like the nano-texture glass on the Pro Display XDR or even the glass trackpad on MacBooks. It has that velvety smoothness with just the right amount of resistance — perfect for both writing and everyday swiping. Extremely satisfying under the fingertip or Apple Pencil.The edges are beautifully finished — smooth and gently rounded, which makes it feel like a natural extension of the iPad rather than something stuck on top. It doesn’t catch at the corners like some cheaper ones do.My only gripe: the alignment frame that came with it wasn’t perfect. It left the protector slightly misaligned on my first try. Not a dealbreaker — just off by a millimeter or so — but worth noting if you’re obsessive about centering. That aside, once it’s on, it looks and feels amazing.If you’re looking for a screen protector that actually improves the tactile experience of your iPad mini, this one’s a winner.
