Nicely priced option that works well for holding laptops
So far so good. Went together very easily and instructions are easy to use. Wish the screws for the mount was black instead of silver, but that’s a minor nit pick. Seems sturdy enough.Some improvements would be a pad for the clamp that tightens against the bottom of the desk and a solid base or cover instead of hollow on the bottom shell that sits on top of the desk.Adjustments are what I would expect at this price point and the value does seem nice. It helps save me room putting my Macbook on my desk and makes it easy to just turn and utilize it as needed. Easy to adjust the tension for the arm and I like the included adjustable side bars to make sure laptops are locked in. Moves around easily and the tilt is nice as well. Exactly what I was looking for without spending a lot for something that is overbuilt for my use case.I used this on the side of my Secretlabs Magnus Desk and had no issues with clearance. I did buy some 1/4″ flat plastic shims to go under the mount so the base doesn’t put indentions in the top of my desk mat.

Well constructed, ideal with external keyboard.
Didn’t realize how much assembly was required. That said, it was relatively easy. Although, I’m not sure why the design requires 3 different sizes of allen wrenches — regardless, the tools are included, so it is just a minor annoyance.Requires being mounted on a horizontal surface, and requires ~4 inches below the surface for the clamp. Which barely fits on my nightstand, and requires me to leave the drawer open. but i probably have an unusual use case.The base plate is too large for every laptop. It should hold anything 13″ or larger fine, but smaller laptops and ultralights might be too small to secure.Sturdy enough for general use, especially if you are using an external keyboard. However, typing on the integrated keyboard will make everything vibrate.

Works great, well made, sturdy and fits my laptop well. I purchased to get my work laptop off my desk and since I use it only during work hours I can move it out of my way when off work hours. It was easy to assemble but trying to figure out how to lower the arm was a little hard. The gas spring required a lot of force to get it to release the tension but once we figured that out it was good to go! It can be adjusted in many positions. I’m using for laptop but it’s nice that they include the mount option for a monitor as well, not only does it enhance the value but increases the longevity of usage since it can be used for two purposes if I no longer want to use for a laptop.

Amazing product highly recommend!
Bought these mounts a few months ago to free up some space on my desk (I was scared that many of the pour reviews like the design issue wouldn’t be able to be fixed but after I looked at it closely it is a great design (explained more)). Has amazing range of motion and the adjustability is very easy (the screen does have a tilt to it when the arm is pointed to the side of the mount but can be easily fixed by rotating the screen tilt to the desired position).

This articulated arm is strong, and carries my large HP Laptop easily. The stops at the bottom are large enough to place my new Samser 2nd keyboard on them.

Can’t close my laptop!
This is a sturdy, well-built unit. Assembly is easy and it functions well. The only complaint is that the side clips make it impossible to close the laptop. It needs a better way to secure the laptop to the stand.

Works great, able to hold my wifes RoG 17 inch laptop with no issues…. Very easy to setup and install to the desk, I wish you could have the strap higher up so its close to the screen, but because of our laptop size we had to run it near the mouse pad as it would push buttons.
