A Bitter Truth
I don’t have this laptop, but in my 20 years of experience in the computing world, for all those who complain about their laptop getting hot, I can tell you:Any laptop with a dedicated graphics card and a high-performance CPU will inevitably get hot. Heat is inherent to the high frequencies at which all the components run. Don’t expect the RAM, CPU, graphics card, or SSD to run at several GHz; the machine will be an iceberg.The only way to prevent it from getting hot is to set it to a “Battery Life” profile, which they label as such because the actual label: “Low Performance” is ugly. In this case, nothing will get hot, but it will run at a much lower frequency, and performance will be slightly noticeable. On high-performance computers, their “low performance” is still perceived as high for normal tasks.Conclusion: It is IMPOSSIBLE to have ultra-high performance and cool temperatures in a laptop where all the power is concentrated in a small chassis.

MSI Laptop review
This computer is a beast. Really fast and great graphics.My only complaint is that it runs HOT. The top row on the keyboard in the middle is noticeably warm. I understand that higher end processors put out some heat and I hope MSI took this into account.Other than that, I am very satisfied with the product.
