    Fun learning
This book and 2 others are birthday presents for our 4 year old great-grandson. I find this book to be really a great fun way of learning about the world. I struggle with all the toys that go to waste because he has so many and just can’t play with them all. It’s such a waste of money. I feel he will get more out of books in the end. I highly recommend these National Geographic kids books.

    I keep buying these
I make sure to review every one of this series that we buy, because they really shut down the competition. These books are full to the brim with information and gorgeous photography. Not a single on ein this series has ever let us down. The books in this series that focus on history or geography are pretty good, but it’s their nature and animal related books that are the real home-runs of this line. I mean, we are over here with a home garden that I do together with my 4yo son, and at night we are reading the NG book on bugs, and in the morning he is waking up and understanding what I mean when I say that this ladybug in our garden is at his job working and should not be disturbed. These books are simply wonderful; buy as many as you can before somebody tells you that is too many to have. You will love these, or you simply do not know what is good in a kid’s book. These have activities and extra bubbles to read so you can change the pace of each read or have these mean more as they get older. It’s impressive when you encouter a book series that has this sort fo firm grasp of it’s function, and an interest in amusing a kid for the maximum amount of time a book could amuse a kid.

    Favorite Book
This book is my five year old granddaughter’s favorite go to book. She wants to be read to from this book all the time. She has learned a lot of new words from flipping through the book and loves the fabulously detailed pictures. Great buy for a child that loves to read and learn!!

    Love it!!
I have bought several of these National Geographic books for my niece and this is my favorite one. I wanted to keep it for myself instead of giving it to my niece. Great photos and very informational. I loved the maps in particular (they made me realize how much my geography knowledge is lacking).

The book is great. Your little one can learn many different things about the world and yet a vast amount of knowledge for the recommended age. We read this book when she was 5 first then visited the book again and again either to discuss or learn more. Very nice book with lots of beautiful pictures. High-quality printing. You cannot go wrong with National Geographic books for sure.

Came quickly, perfect condition, using it to assist homeschooling elementary. Helpful for understanding different locations around the globe – climates, hemispheres, maps etc… The written content has short paragraphs easy enough for a kid in grade one, but useful for grades 2 & 3 in comprehension and interesting to look at pictures and facts.
