Nice quality
The microphone boasts an exceptional pickup quality. When connected to my iMac 25-inch A4, I utilized the voice memo feature. However, the mute button proved ineffective, despite the illuminated indicators on the microphone indicating its active status. The volume control functioned as expected, with the indicators confirming its operation, but the sound output remained unresponsive. Despite the commendable construction and build quality for its price range, the accompanying instructions are not user-friendly. In fact, I found them to be unhelpful. Additionally, there is a QR code provided for downloading the user manual.

Impressive & Competitively Priced
I’ve been really impressed with the NEEWER UM02 USB microphone. Setup was incredibly easy — I just plugged it in and it worked right away with no drivers needed. I’ve used it for calls, recording, and a bit of streaming, and the sound quality is clear and crisp without picking up too much background noise. The cardioid pickup does a great job focusing on my voice, and the built-in noise reduction helps keep things clean, especially at a desk setup. I also love the RGB lighting — it adds a nice touch without being distracting. Headphone monitoring is a big plus too, and there’s no noticeable latency when listening back. For the price, this mic punches above its weight. It feels solid, looks clean on the desk, and performs better than expected for a USB microphone. Great option for anyone getting into gaming, streaming, podcasting, or just wanting better audio for meetings.

Decent microphone, gets the job done.
For the price, it’s pretty good. Not the best I’ve seen at this price, but better than many. Lighting makes it a little flashier for streaming, it also has a lightning cap over USB-C, as well as a USB-C cap over USB. So, fairly versatile for various devices/streaming platforms/game systems. Plugs into whatever it is streaming from, not a rechargeable microphone. I like it, it’s decent. Fairly decent noise, but is not fool proof. If you’ve got a fairly quiet zone, it’s perfect.

Solid starter mic
Easy to set up and the RGB lights look great. Sound is clear enough for gaming and streaming, but noise cancellation isn’t perfect. Durable build, though lightweight. Good value for beginners, not pro‑level. Though you can only plug it in through the port in your phone
