My 3 year old loves all of the Never let a Unicorn series books. She can read (has memorized) word for word the Never let a unicorn wear a tutu book. This is a great series. We read them every night.

Fun book in the same family as “never give a mouse a cookie”
This is a cute book that teaches kids that sometimes it is a good idea to listen to parents. It makes the point through the silly exploits of a scribbling unicorn. The book is beautifully illustrated and fun for the kids as well as the grown-ups who read the book with the little angels.Best of all, the book makes its points in a non-preachy kind of way.

We adore this book. So much so that I went back and ordered two more for birthday gifts for my daughters’ friends. (It was on sale at the time!). We’ve read it at least 25 times since we received it (just over a month ago), and both (my daughter and I) still love it.
Prasanna V. –
A very nicely illustrated book with a fun story. Liked the use of colours and my daughter loved the unicorn. 🙂 Could have been a tad lengthier.
Rebecca Hamer –
I have purchased the other books by Diane Alber and this one doesn’t disappoint either. It is a fun bedtime read for any child. I loooooove the illustrations and the underlying concepts of how artwork can be open to interpretation. I am excited to see that there are other books in the series coming soon too. I am a teacher and both boys and girls have loved this book where they have been inspired to be creative and use their imagination.
Maria O M –
It’s a silly story but lots of fun. The illustrations were simple and effective. Kids love unicorns. They’ll love it!

A lovely book to share with my babies who are not such keen mark makers. It’s one we will read over and over again!
