Super fast charging, perfect for my needs

A Compact Powerhouse for Your Charging Needs
I’ve been using the NOCO XGrid X100 100W USB-C Charger for about a month now, and it’s quickly become my go-to wall adapter for everything from my MacBook Pro to my iPhone and wireless earbuds. Priced around $50 (depending on the retailer), this dual-port GaN charger punches way above its weight in terms of performance and portability, making it ideal for travelers, remote workers, or anyone tired of juggling multiple bulky adapters. What Stands OutThe X100’s GaN (Gallium Nitride) technology is the real star here—it’s incredibly efficient, running cool to the touch even during extended sessions, and it shrinks the overall size without skimping on power. At just 2.2 inches tall and weighing under 4 ounces, it slips easily into a pocket or laptop bag. The foldable prongs are a lifesaver for international trips; no more snagging on zippers or worrying about bent pins.Power delivery is where it shines brightest. Supporting PD 3.0, QC 4.0+, and PPS protocols, it intelligently distributes up to 100W total across the two USB-C ports. When charging a single device like my 14-inch laptop, it hits full 100W speeds, topping it off in under 90 minutes. Plug in two devices? It smartly allocates power—say, 65W to the laptop and 35W to my phone—without any noticeable lag. I’ve tested it with a mix of Apple, Samsung, and Google gear, and compatibility has been seamless. Overcharge protection, thermal regulation, and UL listing add that extra layer of peace of mind; no weird heat buildup or safety scares. The build quality feels premium too—matte white finish resists fingerprints, and the ports are snug without being finicky. NOCO backs it with a 3-year warranty, which is generous for the category.Minor GripesIt’s not perfect. There’s no built-in cable, so you’ll need your own USB-C cords (NOCO sells matching XGrid ones, but they’re an upcharge). And while the smart distribution is clever, it doesn’t let you manually prioritize ports via an app or switch—it’s all automatic, which works 95% of the time but might frustrate power users tweaking setups on the fly. At max load, it can get mildly warm if you’re in a stuffy room, though nothing alarming.Bottom LineIf you’re in the market for a versatile, future-proof charger that handles laptops and accessories with ease, the NOCO XGrid X100 is a smart investment. It outperforms bulkier competitors like Anker’s 737 or Belkin’s BoostCharge in compactness while matching their speed. Highly recommended for Apple loyalists or multi-device households—grab one and ditch the adapter clutter. Just pair it with a good cable, and you’re set for years.

A hot item to charge all your devices
In today’s world of electronic gadgets, it feels like we’re constantly lugging around a collection of little bricks and blocks just to keep everything charged. Purses, bags, workspaces, and nightstands seem to fill up with more of these plastic charging boxes every day. High-powered 100-watt chargers that can handle multiple devices at once do exist, but they’re often expensive.A 100-watt charger simply wasn’t in my budget until I found the NOCO XGrid X100: 100W USB-C Charger – Dual Port GaN Power Adapter. It’s a real game changer: an affordable, state-of-the-art GaN charger that lets me power two devices simultaneously. The dual USB-C ports offer flexible power distribution, allowing combinations such as 100W/0W, 65W/30W, 45W/45W, 30W/65W, or 0W/100W. This means I can charge my MacBook Pro and my iPhone at the same time without worrying about which port to use. It’s incredibly nice not having to haul around multiple power bricks.I’m always cautious about electrical safety with non-OEM accessories, but the NOCO XGrid X100 is certified by Edison Testing Labs (ETL), which means it meets rigorous safety standards. That gives me real peace of mind, especially when using it overnight. It also has a convenient folding (though not removable) set of prongs that fit any standard U.S. outlet. One drawback I’ve noticed is that the XGrid X100 gets quite warm during use. This may be normal for a 100-watt charger, but if you’re used to 65-watt or lower devices, the difference is noticeable. I also deducted a star because it only comes in black. These minor drawbacks aside, the XGrid X100 is a solid addition to anyone’s collection of electronic accessories. Recommended.

Reliable, High-Quality 100W Charger That Simplifies Your Setup
I’ve been using the NOCO XGrid X100 100W USB-C charger for about a month now, and it’s been a great replacement for carrying both a laptop brick and a separate phone charger. With 100W available and smart power distribution, it easily handles my laptop and provides fast charging for my phone at the same time. The build quality is excellent—solid, clean design, and very much in line with the reliability I’ve come to expect from NOCO products. It is on the larger and heavier side compared to some other GaN chargers, but the performance and quality make up for the bulk. At a listed price of $50 (currently around $30), the value is very good—especially for a UL-listed charger from a well-regarded brand.I also own the 140W version, which can power two laptops simultaneously, but this 100W model is noticeably smaller and more convenient for everyday laptop and high-speed phone charging. For travel or daily carry, it hits a sweet spot.

Works great; reliably delivers 100W to my VR battery dock so I am ready to play always
I am an avid VR enthusiast which requires a lot of power, so I have magnetic rechargeable batteries with a dock that can accept up to 100W of power for simultaneously recharging 3 batteries. I have been using this charging brick for a couple of weeks and it is fantastic. It supplies the full 100W to my battery dock so that my batteries are recharged faster than I can consume/use them. It is similar in size to another 100W power adapter I have (shown in the attached photo; white; to the right of this black one for reference). It is a bit wider than a standard 3-prong plug head, so it might take up a width-and-a-half outlet on a power strip, making it challenging to plug anything in directly next to it unless the power strip is well-spaced out as mine is. While the color isn’t why I wanted this charging brick, it is a bonus that it blends in better on my shelving unit. For the price, I’m thrilled to have yet another means of fast-charging my tech so that I’m never without it or having to wait for a recharge for long.

If you know the brand NOCO, you probably associate them with rugged jump starters, and that same DNA is clearly present in this XGrid X100 charger. From the moment I took it out of the box, the quality was obvious. It feels dense, hefty, and premium in the hand. None of that hollow, cheap plastic feel you get with generic charging bricks. It features foldable plugs, which is great for travel, but the real story here is how it manages power. Spare me a moment to showcase my nerdiness :)Most dual port chargers are frustratingly rigid. Usually, Port 1 is the high power port, and Port 2 is the slow one. If you plug a laptop into the wrong hole, it charges slowly. The X100 is much smarter. It offers flexible power splits (100W/0W, 65W/30W, 45W/45W, etc.). Here is why that matters:First, you can plug your 100W laptop into either port and get full speed. You don’t have to squint to read tiny labels to find the fast port. second, true dual laptop charging (45W/45W). If you plug in two devices that both need juice, it can split the power evenly. This is perfect for charging two MacBook Airs or a laptop and a tablet simultaneously at decent speeds. When you’re charging a Laptop and phone (65W/30W), it intelligently steps down one side to keep your laptop running fast while fast charging your phone on the other. What I just explained is what sets this charger aside from competition. On top of this, it is UL-certified. When I am plugging in thousands of dollars worth of camera gear or laptops, that safety certification gives me peace of mind that a cheap, uncertified brick just can’t.This is an industrial grade tool for charging. The X100 is worth the investment in my opinion. It feels like it will last forever.

These new GaN chargers provide excellent PD power for many different devices. While this unit seems rated for 100 watts, I wasn’t able to see that rate of power delivery. Testing showed a maximum of 65 watts. I used it to charge a laptop that has a 65 watt OEM charger and this NOCO charger got very hot – almost too hot to touch. I wouldn’t recommend it for high drain applications and would make sure that it was never covered up or left sitting on a carpet or blanket. For lower wattage requirements – it was very useful to simultaneously charge a couple of cell phones or tablet or other battery powered toys or electronic equipment. There are still a number of devices that have a USB-A charging port, so you will need an adaptor to use this with more devices since it only has 2 USB-C receptacles. The folding prongs for the plug makes it a good choice for following you to school or work. It is heavy enough that if the receptacle doesn’t grip the prongs well, it can fall out of the wall receptacle. The charger supports a number of popular charging protocols as can be seen from the test data.

My old wall charger stopped working, so I went looking for a new one that could power my wireless charger for my Samsung phone and watch, as well as my tablet. After comparing a few options, this 100W model caught my attention—it seemed powerful and well-designed, so I decided to give it a try.The charger arrived in a small, nicely presented box. At first glance, it feels solid and well-built. It’s a bit heavy, but still compact considering the amount of power it delivers. It has two USB-C ports, which means I can charge two devices at the same time without losing speed or power. The foldable prongs are a thoughtful touch, making it easy to pack or store when not in use.As soon as I plugged it in, everything worked perfectly. My phone, watch, and tablet all charged smoothly without any interruptions or overheating. That said, there are a few minor downsides. I wish it had a third USB-A port to make it more versatile, especially for older cables. The box only includes the charger—no cables are provided, which might disappoint some users. Also, because of its weight, the charger can sometimes tilt slightly when plugged directly into a wall outlet. Depending on the outlet or power bar design, the prongs might not always fit perfectly, which can cause a bit of interference. At around $50 CAD, it’s not the cheapest option out there, but you really get what you pay for. The build quality is excellent, and it delivers consistent, reliable power for everything from a smartphone to a laptop. I’ve had no issues with compatibility or performance so far.Overall, this is a strong, efficient, and dependable charger that does exactly what it promises. I’m very satisfied with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable high-power charger.
