Good value, not chalky, no smell or strong flavor, mixes well.
Consumer Labs rates this the highest of the protein powders and the 5lb plastic jar lasts a long time in the back of my garage fridge. Great value when you catch a price reduction! Not chalky, no detectable flavor or smell in anything, mixes in well – I use a Nutriblend single smoothie machine. I can also to add to baked goods and some cooked dishes. Perfect.

A Smooth Protein
Nutricost Grass Fed Whey Protein Isolate is an excellent product. When it says Unflavored, it means Unflavored. There is no taste at all. So blend it in with your favorite smoothie, for example. It is really a smooth powder and mixes very well. The ratio for me is one part whey protein isolate with four parts hemp hearts protein, plus whatever creative ingredients I wish to add. It always comes out really creamy with a very nice texture. I am trying to increase my muscle mass, so I guess it would be better if I used more whey and less hemp, but it WILL happen anyway; it will just take more time for that goal to be met since I am careful about not too much dairy (people’s needs vary, of course). And the price is very fair. The only ingredients are whey protein and sunflower lecithin, and that is way cool!

Pure isolated protein, no artificial sweetener!
Love the taste of this product! Nutricost, Please DO NOT change your formula or add artificial sweetener. I abandoned other products because of those added sucralose and stelvia. This product is just pure isolated protein which i love!

Easy on Digestion and No Side Effects
I have been trying for a long time to find a protein powder that doesn’t effect my stomach or give me brain fog. What interested me the most in trying this particular powder is the fact that it was not only third party tested but the fact that it only has two ingredients. I don’t have to mix it with anything else to mask the after taste because to me there is no chalky taste. I have blended blueberries than stirred in the protein powder and it is very good but most of the time I drink it without adding anything. It dissolves very quickly. The key for me is to either stir or lightly tip a shaker cup back and forth so that it doesn’t get a lot of thick foam which happens with heavy shaking and in a blender. I have used it for pre & post workout as well as a substitute for a meal. I am so pleased that I am able to finally get more protein in my body without any side effects.

Good but beware
My husband and I noticed a change for the better when taking the supplement. However, the third bottle was sort of lumpy and tasted odd, almost moldy. I stopped using it. I don’t know the return policy for this product. I will order again and see how the new bottle is.

Dissolves best with a shaker bottle and great for curbing cravings!
I’ve seen lots of negative reviews saying it doesn’t dissolve in liquids especially hot ones. They are right because it definitely unless you use one of those shaker bottles (but this is consistent with most if not all protein powders I’ve tried). If adding to hot liquids especially, make sure it’s fully dissolved first from shaking or blending and it works amazing!I’ve been shaking this unflavored protein powder with whole milk every morning and then adding it to my coffee. I’ve noticed it helps me with cravings not just in the morning, but throughout the day. I also shake it with milk and add it to my tea some nights if I want to stop myself from late night snacking. Unlike other flavored/sweetened protein powders, I don’t feel nauseous after drinking this.

I have used Nutricost whey protein powder concentrate unflavored for years. No problems. Does not taste great, does not taste terrible. Dissolves completely in a shaker bottle. Has neither sugar nor artificial sweetener. So far, so good. For my recent order, I realized there is a specific grass fed version so I tried that. This batch or this version is clumping up in the shaker bottle. Does not completely dissolve. This is unacceptable.
