Loved it so much, I bought 3!
I initially bought this stand for my home office, as I wanted something with a natural look that was not plastic or metal as a more sustainable item. This came quickly and was very reasonably priced. It is three pieces and easy to assemble, and it looks great on my matching oak desk. Edges are beautifully sanded, so it looks more high-end and minimalistic. The space underneath is great for storing my small wireless keyboard, and I love that I can stand it vertically to store my laptop and notebooks out of the way. I also love that it comes with bumpers to soften the parts where my laptop touches wood. It is a perfect height too and allows my eyes to rest on the screen without me having to bend my neck. My husband also fell in love with it (looks and functionality) that he bought one, and I just bought a third one to have at my downtown office location as well. Would recommend for anyone who needs some height on their laptop to help with neck strain or space on their desk.

Excellent product, just as round rubber feet to bottom
A few other reviewers said they didn’t receive the product as pictured with the round holes. I was hoping that mine came as delivered as pictured with the round holes. One of the holes was a little loose. I added a tiny spec of a paper towel and it is now very tight.This product holds my Akai MPC Live 2 device perfectly. When I press the pads, the device doesn’t move at all.I will say though that it works be good for the stand developer/maker to add the circular rubber feet on the bottom because if placed on a slick surface, it will be around.All in all, this is a very excellent product!!!!

Flawed and Still Great
As other reviews mention, it turns around the rod that attaches to the sides. However, my 17″ laptop is stable and has no give or bounce on the vertical plane. I sifted through about 50 options, narrowed down to 3, and settled on this one because, at sixteen bucks, it’s 3x cheaper than the next option. Can’t beat the value, and I like the wooden look over the metal options. You can take it apart for storage. The metal ones that do this seem to sacrifice stability for portability.Note to manufacturer: Consider adding a flat edge to the rod and joint piece so that it won’t turn.

This item was really nice! i had bought it to hold my laptop while i was saving for a monitor it was fairly cheap and was made with good material! i did not see a problem with weight judging cause my laptop weighs like 13 LBS. it did not slip while using it and i found that the slot underneath it was perfect for holding my keyboard while i was doing other things. it is fairly easy to store away! i would recommend this product!

This is a simple, elegant design, and beautifully made – I’ve just received my second. Supplied with small, clear sticky pads so it can’t scratch your table/desk (you don’t see these so they don’t detract from the design), and very easy and quick to put together – although I did need a dab of glue to hold the dowel in place. Sturdy, comfortably holds a laptop at the perfect height, and can tuck away if you turn it upright, or stow your keyboard out of the way underneath if you don’t, so it does exactly what it says on the tin. This is a beautiful product, great quality, value for money, and absolutely worth waiting for. I’d definitely buy it again if only I needed a third!
