    Great product. Easy to install
I have broken two of these but they did what they needed to do. Protected my phone. I would much rather have these screen protectors break than my phone screen. Easy to install. And extremely durable. The multiple drops that eventually cracked this protector would have shattered the phone screen. I simply have a crack in the screen protector. Great product

Protect your screen and your eyes.
Some studies suggest that blue light can harm your eyes, disrupt your circadian rhythm, and even contribute to visible signs of aging (potentially via skin barrier damage and collagen degradation). I want to minimize all of the above. That’s where this screen protector comes in. I’ve been a big fan for years. Initially, I tried a different blue light screen protector by a different company. However, I wasn’t impressed. After one drop, both the protector and my screen cracked. So, after replacing that phone, I turned to Ocushield and never looked back. I use these on every new phone and tablet. These screen protectors are tough! Through the years, the protectors on my phones have survived several drops and only once did the screen protector crack (the phone’s screen itself remained intact). I can’t recommend these enough!

Broke on two iPhones, works on 2 iPads
I purchased one through Amazon for my iPhone and that is the one the 1-star rating is for. We purchased three more directly from the Ocushield page. One of those was for my wife’s iPhone and the other two were for our iPads. The intention is to use this filter in conjunction with iOS “Night Shift” settings on all of these devices. It’s too early to speak to how effective the blue light filter is. However my protector chipped immediately upon installation on the iPhone screen. It has a crack all the way across the screen laterally. It doesn’t bother me as of now but I will be trying to get a new one one under warranty to try again. With that in mind, I VERY CAREFULLY applied the protector to my wife’s iPhone and it didn’t chip…for a few minutes. Within an hour she was already complaining that it was chipped on the side and she wanted it replaced. So just one more thing I get to screw with. I can happily report the iPad protectors went on well and remain totally intact. I heavily use my iPad and the protector hasn’t chipped or cracked at all. So I guess I would recommend these for iPads but not iPhones at this point.

    Decent screen cover
I purchased this screen because I liked the idea of blocking the blue light. The installation idea is great, but it doesn’t work as well as the ones with the frame where you place the screen yourself. The first one I bought had 2 imperfections in the glass so I sent it back for another. I have to say there was no issue getting a new one and they offer a life time warranty! However, when following the directions precisely, neither one went on smoothly without a few bubbles in the middle. This left me having to lift the corner to the middle and smooth again. That got rid of the bubbles but now I have a corner that won’t seal completely. There are also another couple of dots in the glass itself, but I don’t want to have to deal with exchanging it again. There is no change in the picture when you’re inside, but in the sunlight there is a blue hue when you look at your phone from an angle. It’s not a big deal and blocking the blue light is more important! They just need to work on the installation issues.

    Not anti-glare
I really hope this screen holds up because it’s expensive! Cool idea to have the plastic case to apply the screen onto the phone…it will line up perfectly. I followed the directions but I still ended up with 3 very tiny bubble spots where something got inbetween the phone and screen….but given how expensive this screen is, I did not dare peel it off and retry! I’ll have to live with it.The other bubbles took a while to massage out. And some parts of the edge were hard to seal, and it even popped a bit the next day. I read a trick once about taking the tiniest bit of olive oil and running it along any edge that pops up. Did it before and did it this time and it works well. We’re not talking about a visible amount of oil, so don’t go laying it on…Maybe apply it with a lightly oiled corner of a napkin.Screen has a visible blue tint but I haven’t been disturbed by any screen colors.I was looking for a blue light filter that’s also anti-glare. I saw mentions of anti-glare for this one but it’s definitely a shiny surface. I’ll live.

Ocushield is the best & does it all!
If you’re like me and prone to dropping your phone and cracking your screen, then Ocushield is your new best friend! I’ve been through at least 10 of these and I’m consistently amazed at how well they protect my phone’s screen each time. They’ve saved me from having to pay the $250+ iPhone screen replacement cost time and time again. No more cracked screen, just the sweet relief of knowing I’ll peel off the cracked Ocushield protector and my phone underneath will be unscathed! But Ocushield is more than just awesome at protecting your phone’s screen. The blue light protection is a total game-changer for saving your eyes. Before I started getting the anti-blue light screen protector, long reading sessions on my phone would leave me with tired, strained eyes if I weren’t wearing my anti-blue light glasses; but now I can read for hours without any discomfort on the go without my glasses.Further, when I had an issue with a delivery, Amazon connects you directly to Ocushield’s customer service for support. They were SUPER QUICK and VERY HELPFUL. They were happy to resolve my issue just as I requested and I was impressed by how eager to assist they were.If you value your phone’s screen, your eye health, and/or awesome customer service, then Ocushield is a must.

This was boxed and advertised as for Iphone12. It is not, too narrow and short

Needed to protect my iPhone 12, found Ocushields blue light screen protector and it is amazing. Really do feel the difference from scrolling through Instagram and late night WhatsApp messages. Easy application and nice packaging too.

Before I start, I am not in any way affiliated with this company, I’m just a customer who chanced upon the product.I have eyes that do not like bright lights especially blue light. Signs and text that are lit blue at a distance appear as a blur to me (worse if the source light is an LED) while all other colours appear very sharp (I do not require prescription lenses to see clearly at any distance although a very mild correction does perceivably benefit me at all distances.)When the world shifted from CCFL (fluourescent backlit with UV (invisible) source light) to LED backlighting (blue LED with a yellow phosphor to absorb that blue light and fluouresce yellow) I found myself with unbearable eye fatigue whenever looking at a white LED backlit display of any kind. Some research later I discovered that is because the white light emitted by white LEDs is the product of a mix of blue and yellow photons only, it is not a full spectrum white like sunlight or RGB light, it has a massive spike of blue light in the 450nm wavelength and dropping off sharply but still present either side of that. This is the exact point of the visible spectrum that causes people with weak eyes like me to experience fatigue when we expose our retinas to that short wavelength of light due to its high energy.Other display technologies such as OLED/AMOLED have base light sources of a mix of red, green and blue LEDs in order to produce white, this results in a balanced and less optically obnoxious white that my eyes (and i’m sure many others) have a much easier time dealing with. (there is the PWM issue with OLEDs but I won’t cover that here as it is not relevant)Why not just always use old CCFL monitors, and OLED devices and non white LED backlit displays then? In today’s world that is impossible, the majority of displays we interact with on a daily bases are lit by white LEDs and produce other colours purely by filtration of that light, therefore the harsh light must be attenuated or avoided entirely for me if I want to keep my eyes in good health.Night modes on displays apply filtration to the base light, yes they can make your screen go all warm and amber by bathing the image in warm colours, but it does not and cannot stop a bunch of those blue photons from hammering into your eyes as the material in an LCD allows them to pass freely (it has to in order to display colours accurately). This product, I cannot tell you to what precision it attenuates the light, but it objectively does so. I can view my iphone 8’s display which used to fatigue my eyes in a matter of a few minutes of use for normal use now without feeling that anywhere near as much. It was worth the money for me it has turned reliance on OLED mobile devices into that potentially not being the case. The only negatives I can state are definitely par for the course with this product, inherent to it’s purpose and should not be regarded as flaws. They are as follows.Blue/Mauve tint to the device screen when tilted any direction but straight at you.Slight (and I do mean slight, slighter than night shift on less than a quarter of the way) yellow tint to the image, the marketing material stating that it doesn’t affect the image at all is not 100% accurate (I expected this).Overall, good work on creating a product to address this issue, while I believe the general population does not experience fatigue to the point of going out and seeking a product like this, I do believe they could benefit from its use.
