Fantastic eReader, ESPECIALLY if you pair it with a BT remote control
I LOVE this e-reader. It’s lighter than my kindle (a Voyager Paperwhite) with a smaller frame/body, and yet it has an equally large display if not slightly larger, and seems to actually be slightly superior in clarity. The BEST FEATURE of this is actually that it supports bluetooth remotes. I picked up the Onyx BT Remote Control and it makes for an perfect reading setup when I’m in bed and don’t want to move my hands out from under the covers in order to turn the page. Turning the page with the remote is also noticeably fast – it’s instantaneous – and this in turn has actually sped up my reading rate. Do yourself a favor and get the remote if you get this ereader.

Love it!
I thought I was going to have to return this cause it would not display the Readera (premium) app properly but after a long bit of fiddling with settings I got it to display properly. The Readera app allows me to sync my reading across my phone, tablet and reader and works with a variety of formats. I use primarily epub and pdf. It rocks!P.S. came back to add that the battery life is much much less than a Kindle but still long compared to a phone or tablet!

love the Boox Go 6! It’s the perfect size for one-handed reading, especially for someone like me with small hands. What I really appreciate is that it supports books in many languages, not just English, which makes it much more versatile. I previously used another 7-inch eReader, but I actually prefer this 6-inch size—it feels lighter, more comfortable, and easier to carry around. Highly recommended

Will not last.
Terrible life span. Got it as a birthday gift to myself in May 2025. 6 months later it stopped working. Didn’t fall. Didn’t crack, just frozen like a brick.Why buy a product that will only last 6 months? Very disappointed.

Not worth the money. I wanted to get a reader that wouldn’t tie me down to kindle but I’ll stick with the kindle

A capable but slightly slower e-reader. It’s a great size for holding in one hand.
The Onyx Boox Go 6 is a previous model e-reader that has less RAM and is a bit slower than current models. When optimized well it is fast enough for it’s intended purpose of reading books on your choice of downloaded e-reader apps or the NeoReader app that comes installed. The Go 6 has Android 11 which is getting older but I am able to use the ReadEra Premium app. I had to adjust the settings in ReadEra and the Go 6 to make it readable but now it has clean, crisp text on a blank background. The one touch page turns are faster than swiping.The Go 7 has a wide bezel with page turn buttons on one side making it wider overall. I chose the older Go 6 for its smaller size even though the technical specs aren’t as good as the Go 7. It’s too bad Onyx Boox didn’t make the Go 7 the same size as the Go 6.The Go 6 has two lighting adjustments for cool and warm light that can be used together. The light is very effective making reading easy under any lighting conditions. The screen is Carta 1300 which is a newer and very good e-ink screen.Setting up the Go 6 takes a little work but there are a lot of video tutorials that are helpful. If you want an e-reader that is more capable than a basic e-reader, easily fits in the palm of one hand and has no page turn buttons the Go 6 is a good choice. I am thrilled to have an e-ink device like this for reading books.

This could have been great but it isn’t
The size is perfect but the software is underwhelming. It needs a more advanced Android version. I hope Onyx releases on with Android 14 or higher in the future.
