Best way to carry cards at a medieval faire…
Overall, when combined with a decent iPhone case that has magnetic reinforcement, this is a useful way to carry around three cards around. Come time to do the renaissance faire, I pull my faire ID, license, and a credit card, toss them into this case, put my wallet in a secure location, and use that. When done, I pop out the cards, put the little Pelican case on a metal surface with a piece of paper between the case and the metal, call it done.A few caveats. When the case is not in use, I stick it on a metal surface. The magnets are powerful, and can pull out. I had to replace the case when this happened… but this was something that didn’t happen until year three of ownership. Adding a folded card ensured enough distance to allow the magnets to do their work without this happening.The latch works well, although I do wish it were slightly more sturdy. It positively clicks open and closes, and has kept things secured for years.At most it holds three cards, and the other side can hold a couple bills, folded up. For a lot of things like a weekend at a festival, this can be good enough, especially if one is mainly using a credit card to pay for things. It will not really hold something like a spare key unless it is really thin, and even then, it may fall out when the case is opened.Definitely would buy again, and I have. It provides a useful niche, where I keep my phone in a hidden pocket, and allows me to have my cards with me. It is also useful for storing cards in an out of the way place (like the back of a file cabinet), if one wants to move a credit card out of their wallet, but still have it available, yet out of sight.

Good quality as expected from Pelican
Why didn’t I have one of these a long time ago!I got fed up with big A wallet in my pocket all the time carrying around a bunch of crap I hardly ever used or needed. Now I leave that wallet full of stuff I need sometimes in the glove compartment and carry my ID, credit card and little cash on the back of my phone. I have my phone anyway! Good strong magnet and secure latch. Been using everyday for 6-7 months works great. I ordered this due to trust in name brand. I have a few different cases and a couple coolers by pelican. Little more money ya but you get what you pay for.

Great quality, strong magnet, slightly bulky.
I used this Pelican MagSafe Wallet with my Android S25 Ultra, and it worked surprisingly well. The magnet is extremely strong—once it latches on, it’s not going anywhere. It holds cards securely, feels durable, and has that tough Pelican quality you’d expect.The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the bulk. It’s slightly on the thicker side, so you definitely notice it in your pocket. Other than that, it performs exactly as advertised and even works great on non-iPhone devices with a MagSafe-compatible case.Overall, solid, reliable, and built like a tank.

Perfect! This wallet is just what i was expecting and better. It is slim and still fits into your pocket. The mag safe is strong enough to hold in place but not so strong where it is hard to get off. Super quick and easy to use! I would purchase again.

UPDATE: Well, this wallet lasted almost 10 months before the MagSafe ring popped off. There is only some glue and a thin layer of plastic holding it in.—I was excited to see a MagSafe case that held more than 3 cards. This one holds 4 standard thickness credit cards without the numbers embossed. If you have the Apple Card which is much thicker, or if you have a credit card with the numbers embossed (a lot of AMEX cards still do this), then this wallet goes back to being a 3 Card Case.My major issue with this wallet is that Pelican has wasted a ton of space inside this wallet and in doing so, made it unnecessarily thick. So much so, that this wallet is 3x thicker than the official Apple MagSafe Wallet, yet the Pelican Wallet only holds 1 more credit card. With the official Apple MagSafe Wallet, I can store 3 cards plus some folded up cash (2 bills if 1 of the cards is not an extra thick card). For comparison, it is about twice as thick as the iPhone itself.The magnetic connection seems a little weaker than the Apple MagSafe Wallet. This may be because the Pelican case is plastic and tends to slide around. The Apple MagSafe Wallet is leather (very very thin leather), but when used on a leather case, not only will the magnet stick stronger, but the leather touching leather bond also helps to hold it to the case stronger.As far as durability goes, the Pelican MagSafe Wallet seems to be much more durable, but time will tell. I am nervous about the longevity of the little plastic clasp, tiny metal pegs, and the rubber strip that holds the cards and cash. While the Apple MagSafe Wallet is actually full of a lot of hidden features, the quality, just like all of the Apple iPhone cases, is just not very good. You can expect the Apple MagSafe Wallet to look good for about 4 months and last maybe 6 months if you do not drop it at all. Speaking of drops, the Pelican wallet is plastic and has already come off my phone a few times, so I have a few very light scratches. However, I expect that if this hits a cement surface, it will result in a large and deep scratch.PROS:- Holds 1 additional standard thickness non-embossed credit card than the Apple MagSafe Wallet- More durable than the Apple MagSafe WalletCONS:- 3x the thickness of the Apple MagSafe Wallet, and 2x thicker than the iPhone itself, for 1 additional card- No grip, so this will slip and slide- Magnet is much weaker than the Apple MagSafe Wallet- Have to remove all cards to get just 1 card out- Does not have Find My tracking embedded like the Apple MagSafe Wallet
