Simple tool
This was my first time using iron on banding. The cutter did a nice job cutting and leaving a smooth edge on both sides of the plywood/melamine. It was simple enough to use and much better than a single razor blade.

A must have for door installations
Purchased this to help a friend hang some new interior doors. The original hinge harder was square.I used a router template for cutting out the bulk of the hinge mortise and then used this chisel to square the corners.It’s simple, compact. It is also designed so the chisel can be easily removed for sharpening.Kind of a one trick pony tool. It doesn’t do much, but what it does, it does very well….while not costing much or taking up much toolbox space.Built solidly enough. I think it will last for a lifetime of DIY projects.

Good Tool After Some Elbow Grease
Overall, considering the price, this is a good deal. Just be prepared to put in a lot of work to get the blade bottom flat, and I mean a lot. I spent over an hour on an Atoma 140 grit diamond stone and I still don’t have it all the way flat. You can see in the pics the two spots that are kicking my butt get flat. I have no complaints with the rest of the tool an it took a micro bevel wonderfully. Everything else is good and finished smooth. Considering the Blue Spruce one costs $140 I’m happy saving $100 and putting in 1-1/2 hours of work to end up with a tool that functions the same.

Great little plane for a variety of trimming needs!
I bought this small plane for trimming down plugs for my woodworking projects but have found it works really well for other common trimming needs. I used it the other day to trim down a run on a painting project after it dried. Also used it to trim down a paint line when we replaced our floor which was thinner and left a long streak. Easy to sharpen with wet stones or diamond stones. I also purchased the beveled blade for getting into tight corners.

Great for getting into corners
A small special purpose mini-plane for cleaning up lap joints, getting dried glue out of corners, etc. It comes pretty sharp, but a bit of work on your sharpening stone makes it even better.

Works Okay, but not Perfectly
I’m somewhat disappointed. It seems that the blade is not entirely flat. I can use it on some glue ups and find that it works okay. But most of the time I have to raise the blade up at the Bach for it to slice into the glue.
