Danny Carter –
good product
Replaced an older Oximeter with this one. Works great, easy to setup. I really like the memory for the latest readings.Easy to read numbers with bright back light.
Darla –
Accurate readings.
This was very reliable, durable, and accurate.
IC-DOC –
Excellent display and memory
This has a great bright and clear display. It easily shows the major numbers but has a great waveform display which will show extra and skipped beats. The recording of the past five readings is handy. This unit has excellent battery life. I use two Lithium AAA cells vs Alkaline ones. I recommend this unit.

Display does not rotate & unreliable design
On the surface, the YM301 finger oximeter appears impressive. But there are problems.ISSUE 1 Display is only useful when worn on right hand***question to Amazon’s Rufus***can the display be rotated?***answer from Rufus***Yes, the display of this pulse oximeter can be rotated. According to multiple customer reviews, the display can be rotated 90 degrees by pressing a button and has 4 different orientations. This feature allows for flexible reading and viewing at any angle.***AMAZON SOLD ME ONE THAT DID NOT ROTATE******my email to the supplier***When I change my new oximeter from right hand to left hand I cannot rotate the display. Previous finger oximeters did this by pressing the power button. The new one does not.How do i rotate the display on my new YM301?Or is it defective? Thanks.***suppliers response to me***Hello,We are very happy to answer your question. Regarding the patent issue of the rotation function design, we have cancelled this design. Also, we are willing to refund you half of the fee for any inconvenience caused. Do you think that’s okay?Ann***my thoughts***Sounds like they weren’t capable of designing the display s/w & h/w themselves, and copied the design (maybe from a former employer) and lost a legal battle.ISSUE 2 ReliabilityThe first one lasted 9 months and stopped turning off when I took my finger out. I have to remove a battery momentarily.ISSUE 3 Perfusion Index (%PI) is not documentedThis is a relatively new feature in the industry, but is gaining acceptance as a useful non-intrusive measure of peripheral blood flow.%PI is a measure of how much blood is flowing thru the finger; it’s normally the ratio of(flowing platelets)/(stationary platelets). An oximeter has two sensors: one for stationary, one for flowing platelets. There’s little mention of %PI in the manual, and none about accuracy.

My oximeter my friend!
Easy to use and helps me to understand my breathing issues. When I am at 94 I do my breathing exercises. Then I take my count usually then 96 or 97 on the odometer.
