Great General Overview of Quantum Mechanics
Quantum Physics for Beginners is a great place to start for those interested in learning about quantum physics. It explains what quantum physics is. Then it covers topics like the nature of light, the Heisenberg Uncertainty principal, quantum superposition, quantum entanglement, and quantum tunnelling. Although it’s not math-heavy, some of the equations are introduced along with diagrams, giving a general understanding of the concepts involved. The end includes practical applications of quantum physics in current-day technology. This easy-to-read book is perfect for those interested in learning more about quantum physics before delving deeper into the math of it.

Really beginner friendly
Very beginner friendly. Not much formulas, mainly focused on concepts.

Great resource to start your journey in understanding quantum physics
This is a fantastic introduction into the world of quantum physics. I had started reading a different novel related to the topic and it failed to adequately explain even the most basic of concepts. I was hoping to find a resource that gave a general overview of the main concepts of quantum physics without overwhelming verbiage or reliance on mathematical concepts. Quantum Physics for Beginners is a brief but satisfactory starting point to understanding how the study of quantum physics originated and the necessary context to understand the most notable theories that can then be further explored. It is not completely comprehensive and I did on several occasions refer to additional resources online to further my understanding, but I believe that is exactly what this book is intended to function as. Of course, especially with this subject matter, I don’t know what I don’t know, but I feel as though this is a great place to start your journey into understanding the quantum world.

Excellent book! Definitely read this gem!
This is a fantastic little book! If you have ever been curious about quantum physics, want a solid introduction to a more formal course of study or want a great supplement to your ongoing studies, this is the book to read. Please note that this is NOT a formal textbook with derivations or higher level mathematics. However, don’t underestimate its value! One of the practical and unique qualities of this book is that you do not need to have mastery of elevated mathematics or advanced physics. As a result, you will obtain a very thorough and graspable understanding of the concepts fundamental to understanding quantum physics. This book does include important quantum physics relationships as well. These can serve as a springboard to more advanced study or derivation of such relationships. It has been my opinion as an instructor, that a solid understanding of fundamental principles must accompany any mathematical or physics relationship/equation. This book delivers this understanding in an effective, concise and easy to understand manner. Whether you are a student, professional or a physics enthusiast, you will find true value in this little book! I highly recommend this book!Last, I want to clarify that I did not receive any compensation for this review. This book was not a complimentary copy and was purchased by me for personal study. I am a faculty member at a university and teach undergraduate electricity and magnetism. Thank you for reading my review!

I bought this book as a gift for my dad for Christmas, hoping it would introduce him to the basics and maybe spark some curiosity. He’s not someone who typically reads about science, but always asks me some far-fetched questions, so I wasn’t sure how it would go – but to my surprise, he enjoyed it!This book does a great job of making complex topics feel more approachable. It breaks down ideas like wave theory and quantum mechanics in a way that’s easy to follow, even for someone with no background in the subject. That being said, some parts were still a bit tricky for him to wrap his head around (which is fair, quantum physics is pretty mind-bending!). But I am glad that it got him thinking, asking questions, and engaging with concepts he’d never really considered before, and assumed the whole thing was a hoax!By the end, he said he still wasn’t sure he believed everything he read, but it definitely made him curious – which is exactly what I was hoping for. If you’re looking for an accessible introduction to quantum physics that gets people thinking without overwhelming them, this is a great choice.

From the history of scientific progress that lead to the understanding of QM to modern day applications, every page of this book is dedicated to bring you closer to the concepts of quantum physics, formulated in simple language. What I love about it most, is that it has no “junk” information, thus keeping the book very concise. Furthermore, the analogies used to explain complex concepts speaks volumes about the intellect of the author. I couldn’t have wished for a better read on this topic. Thank you, Carl!

I was directed to this book by Bhagwan kommadi as a starter to quantum computingStill some concepts elude me but some concepts relate too closely to Indian scriptures where saints said ‘I can fit entire universe in size of a mustard’. Coz it’s all energy. The quantum mechanics rules a lot on observer is again synonymous to scriptures that say ‘ it all exists because I observe – maya’
