We’ve all heard a young parent’s lament: “I wish my baby had come with a manual!” Well guess what! They DO now! Whether you are parents to be, have a new baby or older kiddo and wonder about your parenting skills – this incredible book by Dr. Amen – is the BEST I have ever read! From birth through those challenging teen years and beyond … what a game changer! Buy this! Highly recommend, and as a great grandmother, wish this had been available back in 1960’s through the 1990’s for me. Even touches on things like if divorce happens in your family. Such a valuable resource. I read the whole book before I sent it off to my grandson and his wife to enjoy as a wonderful resource for their two baby girls. Yes, it does touch on everything from toddler tantrums to when to let your daughter date! The perfect child rearing “manual”, written in very easy to digest chapters and for everyone’s ability to grasp.

Definitely struggled with the readers overall tone, but absolutely worth it if you can make it through. I love the advice, and I have been using it with my kid. It’s been super helpful and effective. It definitely gets easier the more you do it.
