Razer never disappoints — best wireless headset I’ve used
I’ve been a Razer fan for over 10 years and once again, they nailed it. I bought this to use with my PS5 and it was super easy to connect — totally plug and play. The wireless experience is smooth and reliable. The sound quality is absolutely insane. It’s super immersive and also blocks outside noise really well. The mic picks up my voice clean and clear, and the headset is surprisingly very comfortable, even after long gaming sessions. What I love the most is the battery — I’ve been using it for 5 days straight and still haven’t had to charge it. Switching from PS5 to PC is also super quick and easy.Honestly, I don’t have a single complaint. If you’re thinking about it… just go for it. Totally worth the investment!

Razer BlackShark V2 Review: Supreme Comfort, Stellar Sound
From the moment I unboxed the Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed Wireless Gaming Headset, I knew I was in for an extraordinary gaming journey. This headset is not just a piece of technology; it’s a game-changer in the truest sense.**1. Feather-Light Comfort:**Firstly, the 280g lightweight design is nothing short of revolutionary. Long gaming sessions can often lead to discomfort, but with the BlackShark V2, it almost feels like wearing air. The headset sits comfortably on your head, ensuring that your focus is entirely on the game, not on adjusting your headset.**2. Immersive Audio Experience:**The THX Spatial Audio is a marvel. It’s like having a high-end surround sound system right in your ears. The audio quality is crisp, clear, and balanced, allowing you to hear every detail in your game. From the subtle footsteps of an enemy sneaking up behind you to the roaring engines in a high-speed chase, the sound is so lifelike, it completely immerses you in your gaming world.**3. Crystal Clear Communication:**The bendable mic is another standout feature. It’s not just flexible; it’s also incredibly clear. Communication with teammates is flawless, with no background noise or interference. The mic picks up your voice with such clarity, it feels like you’re in the same room with your team.**4. Powerful Drivers for Dynamic Sound:**The 50mm drivers in this headset are a powerhouse. They deliver sound that’s not just loud but rich and nuanced. Whether it’s the subtle guitar strumming in a game’s soundtrack or the booming explosions in an action-packed scene, the audio quality remains top-notch.**5. Versatile Connectivity:**The options of 2.4GHz, Bluetooth, or USB connectivity make this headset incredibly versatile. Whether you’re gaming on a PC, console, or mobile device, the BlackShark V2 has got you covered. The seamless switching between devices is a huge plus, making it a great all-in-one headset for all your gaming needs.**6. Marathon Battery Life:**The 70-hour battery life is simply astounding. Knowing that your headset can last for days on a single charge is incredibly reassuring. And when you do need to power up, the USB Type-C charging is quick and convenient.**7. Sleek Aesthetic:**Lastly, the design and aesthetic of the headset deserve a mention. The sleek black look is stylish and professional, making it a great accessory for gaming setups and workstations. In conclusion, the Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed Wireless Gaming Headset is a masterpiece of gaming technology. It’s comfortable, offers exceptional sound quality, has a fantastic mic, versatile connectivity options, and a battery life that keeps you gaming for days. It’s not just a headset; it’s an indispensable tool for any serious gamer looking to elevate their gaming experience. Highly recommended!

Huge issues with mic/speaker activation
This is a lengthy review but this is a really problematic headset to have to use daily. First, it’s well-built as all Razer products have been all through time, and the materials should stand up to the test of time. The functionality, however, has become a daily obstacle course, jumping through hoops to get this thing working, and it is driving me insane. To start, I try to never, ever use the software associated with computer peripherals because they will all work without it. I have Razer keyboards and mice, all of those work without the Synapse software. I used another brand headset for a long time, also without its associated software, with no issues at all. The same applied to this headset, and I was able to plug in the wireless dongle, turn it on, and bam…it worked. No software, no hoops, it just worked.I don’t know what happened last week, but this thing just decided it wasn’t going to work anymore. The speakers worked, but the mic didn’t. I plugged it into the USB cable and suddenly the mic worked…but the speakers didn’t. I broke down and installed Synapse and now the connectivity is stuck in this perpetual cycle. It won’t work without Synapse running, and if the headset is taken over by something like Zoom or Google Meetings, it will not let go of it and requires a PC reboot to get it working again.I don’t understand why products simply “working” is a challenge in this day and age, but it’s truly puzzling. I’m past the date for returns on this headset, so I’m likely going to simply go back to the *wired* version of this headset that had a really neat feature: IT WORKED.

Perfect for Streaming
My absolute favorite headset ever. The mic is super clear and sounds amazing when I’m playing games with friends, I’ve never had a complaint! They’re super comfy and fit right over my ears, I don’t get fatigued after wearing them or get headaches from them like I do with other headsets. The sound quality is really nice, you can shift between different settings (such as movies, games, custom, etc) and it’s really nice and versatile. I think they’re good quality, they’ve lasted through some serious rough handling at times and remain unscuffed! The only thing I’d say I don’t like about this product is the connectivity aspect, the little black box that stays plugged in takes up a lot of space with the cord. Other than that, I really enjoy this headset and recommend it for streaming, gaming, or just casual use.

I purchased this item through an Amazon Warehouse deal, and the headphones appear to be basically brand new. The sound quality is pretty decent. Not the greatest in the world, but definitely good enough that the quality isn’t distracting. Comparable to Airpods sound quality, I’d say. Great mids, but not much for bass. Microphone quality is pretty amazing, people I’ve talked to on voice calls note the difference in mic quality compared to my old set up. The ‘hyperspeed’ wireless connection is AMAZING, and the real selling point here. I can walk around the house and not lose audio connection, and even still remain on calls. They are very comfortable and very light, I wear them for hours at a time, and the battery life is unbelievably good, don’t know how they do it. Highly recommend them if you can get a good deal.

Well built, comfortable after flexing / breaking it in, incredible sound after configuring using Razers software. Great product for a great value.Only cons are nothing is ever loud enough, or maybe that’s just a part of getting old haha.Thank you!
