How to install the battery correctly?
1. Use a screwdriver (not included) to loosen the screw, then remove the cover.
2. Insert the battery and ensure the positive pole is facing up.
3. Align the battery cover with the opening and securely tighten the screw.
What to do if the tape measure screen doesn’t show anything?
1. Please remove the battery, wait 1min and reinstall it.
2. Replace the battery.
Why won’t the tape measure connect to my phone?
1. Make sure the app you open is “Renpho Health”.
2. Please place the tape measure near your phone.
3. Make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on.
What apps can I sync my smart tape measurement data to?
1. Currently, the RENPHO Tape Measure is only compatible with the Renpho Health APP.
2. Only waist measurement data can be synced to Apple Health, not other measurement data.
3. Other third-party apps are not supported at this time.
Why do measurements not line up with app?
Cause 1: The data was not zeroed for the last measurement. Please press and hold “√ ”button to zero the measurement.
Cause 2: Forget to switch between length mode and circumference modes. Please long press “M” Button to switch two measurement modes.

I had higher expectations for this then what I should have. This device works great and has the added bonus that your measurements can be transferred to the app for record keeping of your health. The drawback is that it’s really no easier to use than a tape measure. There’s still the awkward holding one end while trying to move the tape around your arm or leg etc. To get an accurate reading you have to push a button before you start pulling the tape out and then release it when you’re done. It is nice that the readings are automatically recorded in the app if you’re using that. It’s just that taking the measurements themselves won’t be much easier with this device. So this one I get used is often as I thought that it would but my main reason in purchasing it is I already had the scale and the blood pressure monitor that uses the same app. I don’t regret buying this and I think it will be useful. And it is nice that the app can keep track of the measurements for me with my other health measurements.

Very useful for more than just weight loss
The tape measure came exactly as described and it works perfectly. I love that the tape measure snaps into the bottom and you can use one hand to tighten it up and get a precise measurement. It works with the same RENPHO app that the scale uses so you can track all of your data in one place, which is so nice if you are also using the RENPHO scale. The measurement also syncs right into the app so it makes measuring your whole body quick. You can track your trends and see how your body is changing from week to week. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking to lose weight and want another way of tracking your progress other than just a number on a scale.What I didn’t expect is just how useful this tape measure would be. I bought this because I started a weight loss journey using GLP-1s after years of struggling with my weight due to PCOS and insulin resistance. In the last 3 years, my weight has fluctuated within a range from 170 lbs to 230 lbs. It constantly goes up and down and because of that, I have no idea what size clothing I wear. I have clothes that range from way too big to way too small and I have no idea what size to even buy anymore. This tape measure has been so helpful in deciding what size I should buy. I use the measurements from the app and compare to the size guide for clothing and can finally get a size that actually fits on my body. It’s so useful because sizing varies between brands and I’m able to just open the app and compare my measurements whenever I’m shopping. For that reason, this little device can be useful to everyone whether you’re losing weight or just trying to find clothes that fit you well. I didn’t expect how useful this thing would turn out to be but I’m so glad I bought it.

This is a terrible product.It’s accurate. You can measure things to the tenth of an inch or centimeter quickly.It is dependent on an app to function properly to produce understandable information about your body. The app is horrible. It’s much worse than I can articulate. Tablet use is deactivated, and it needs an email registration so they can use your phone and sell a bunch of information about you, but that’s not the problem. The app just doesn’t work. It fails to save the sizes, inches on one bicep are multiplied by ten by the app (the decimal is in the wrong place), the app leaves “accept” buttons off screen all the time. It takes forever to try to go through the various measurements, and you will find it just doesn’t work. Even if you manage to get them all saved, the app will jack it up.You’ll never know your bodyfat or health stats, and never be able to look at progress.If you use this tape and a paper notebook and use the Navy’s calculators, this works. But you can get a tape measure for $1, and this product costs $25.Therefore this is a poor value and a bad product, and I wish I could return it, but I tore up the package because it’s shipped in a clamshell.Sigh.
