Great deal! Easy to pair! Works great like a remote should.
I was skeptical at first about buying this remote and whether or not it would work for my Google streaming 4k device. However, it was simply easy to pair and poof……working great and i really like having the volume control on the side, but that is just my preference. I do not know about the battery life just yet, but since it is not backlit i am sure it will last awhile so i am not worried too much about that. I thought this was a good value deal for the money and getting it overnight just made it better. All the buttons work fine on this remote too and no issues with using it on my soundbar. Thank you so much!

Perfect replacement for the original Chromecast remote
I bought this to replace my white Chromecast remote after my daughter broke the first one. Without it, I had to use the Fire TV to control the Chromecast, which was awkward.The new remote arrived fast and looked identical to the original. I put in the batteries, paired it, and it worked right away. No setup steps. No issues.All the buttons work as expected. YouTube, Netflix, and voice command all respond fast. The build feels solid and the buttons click clean. It’s the same size, same color, and works exactly like the original.Battery life has been great so far. I haven’t had to think about it once. It even has the voice control button, which works perfectly.It’s a great value and does exactly what it should. I’d recommend it with no complaints at all.

I only bought this as it claims to not be compatible with Roku Ultra, and I didn’t believe that statement. I was right. It works fine with the Ultra’s IR receiver. So if you have a Roku that uses both RF and IR, this remote works fine. Worth $10 just to be able to say that.Certainly would not work with an RF only receiver. Also does not start my car by remote.Granted, there’s no power button or voice control. But that’s fine. Voice control is creepy anyway. Plus I was able to clone the Disney+ launch signal into my universal remote. Which doesn’t have voice control either, but does have a power button.I considered knocking off a star because the remote was obviously refurbished, but hey… Most ‘new’ products are anyway. I could tell because there was no original packaging, instructions, and the protective film was all wrinkly and crooked.Works fine. Looks new. Clones to programmable universal remotes. Won’t change channels no matter how loudly you shout at it. Doesn’t start my car or get the neighbor’s dog to stop barking. Still worth it.

Apple TV 4K Version Lacks a Control Center Button. Returned.
If you make use of the Control Center functions, don’t waste your time trying this remote. This inexpensive Apple TV 4K version does not have a button that activates the control center, which is the ONLY place where speakers/air pods are activated, among other controls. Attempts to reconfigure buttons by using the settings in the Apple TV’s menu could not seem to distinguish one button from another (every button redefinition attempted resulted in a “button already in use” error message). I gave up and returned these and ordered an Apple branded replacement, though at 10X the price. We have several Apple TV boxes and have become spoiled by the Apple ecosystem interoperability, so as painful as it was to pay the price of an Apple-branded replacement, doing so is still worth it.One day, we might find the original, missing remote, but at least we once again have full use of our streaming box. These Apple TV remotes are so slim and slick that they too easily disappear. To minimize loss and to help find them when they disappear and even to know at-a-glance which remote goes to which box, I’ve now 3D-printed cases in bright colors and in a design which will hold an Apple Air Tag. Seems crazy to spend $20 for an Air Tag to prevent loss of a such a tiny remote control, but hopefully we won’t again be faced with the decision to bite the bullet or go without.

Easy to use
I recently bought a Hisense Roku tv and wanted an extra remote. The AAA batteries did not come with the remote but as soon as I put some in it worked perfectly. Didn’t need to pair it with the tv.

The buttons on my first unit failed after 2 years use on my smart TV – esp when accessing Netflix and YouTube. Also, the volume buttons are hard to access – they’re on the right. Pus, the unit’s hard to use in a dark room.
