Excellent Handheld Console!!!
The RG35XX H Retro Handheld is an awesome little console. The controls feel solid and responsive, making gameplay smooth and enjoyable. The battery lasts about 8 hours, which is perfect for any quick gaming. It’s also lightweight and portable, so I can take it anywhere without any problem.It comes with a 64GB micro SD card that can store tons of games, and the volume quality is excellent and very clear. Also comes with a screen protector. It also supports 5G WiFi, Bluetooth, and HDMI output, so you can even connect it to a TV. I’m having tons of fun playing with this device. This is worth the buy.

Great value for a tiny console
The product hits the sweet spot for classic gaming. It really brings the childhood memories for me. Play smoothly with it without any trouble. The 3.5 inch screen is a bit small but it’s good for pocket size. Having fun to play several games continuously without changing it. The USB-C charging is fast. Don’t have chance to try play with multiplayers or it will be fun. According to the introduction, it supports up to 2TB but 64GB is good enough for me.

Retro handheld console
Very fun right out of the box! Comfortable hold and has a high end feel to the controls (buttons and knobs). The selection of games is much better than expected! Lots of classics (crash bandicoot, tekken, king of fighters, mortal combat, mega man, …). Next I will try to connect it to a larger monitor and project to it. It has a screen protector already on it and it comes with a backup, super useful!

Great budget handheld console, highly customizable!
Really I’d rate this RG35XXH a 4.5. I wish it was just a little bigger, as my hands are kind of cramped while playing.I will also say that stock, it’s not much fun. The OS is a little boring. And there are few good games. We all know which retro games have replay value, and there aren’t many of them on the stock system. Since all of this firmware is open source, I upgraded to knulli os and added my favorite purchased games, now it’s nearly perfect.I also upgraded the micro sd card to a brand name card. and added a second one for games. It’s all pretty simple, you just have to be a little bit savvy or follow step-by-step instructions that are available in many places.Battery life seems good, screen is bright and vibrant, and controls feel great.

Potential Xmas gift? Don’t do it.
The hardware portion of this product is nice, and the installed operating system is too. Game wise, none of them are knew, but I knew that. Out of the 5,000 plus games, up to forty percent won’t work with at least some setting changes, twenty or more percent are not in English (although I have found two Japanese games that I really like, not sure what I’m doing though) and thirty percent are not formatted for the small screen, while some like Cat House for the Atari doesn’t appear to be talking about a place to keep pets and one has to question their suitability for a console which is likely to be given to children over the holidays. The curation of the game selection was nonexistent with some of these games striking out for multiple reasons. It’s hard to recommend this product for anyone who isn’t a retrogamer or wants to improve their ability to read Japanese.

I liked this game console. This looks amazing and brings the childhood nostalgia back. It has all major emulators and retro games. The screen quality is good and size is compact fits in my pocket.

What A Massive Waste Of Time
I bought this to have in the house for when my gaming grandson comes over. I read review after review & from those I thought this would be a great low cost alternative to Nintendo. After charging the first thing this little box wants me to do is connect to my wireless & do a firmware update. Except that one of the characters in my wifi password isn’t even on the list of characters on the tiny screen. I was in disbelief so I checked over & over again & sure enough it wasn’t there. I have never seen that before in my long life & long career in the computer/electronics world. I played a couple of the games & I do not have the patience to sit through the long intros & weird videos & really couldn’t live with the slow speed or clunky controls, so it is going back in the box & back to Amazon immediately. I’ll just make sure he brings his Switch when he comes over next time. This thing is actually zero stars. Thank goodness Amazon has a great return policy.
