Can I use my RHINOSHIELD Mod NX case with a back protector or phone skin?
We do not recommend installing a back protective film or wrap on the phone itself, as the added thickness may make installing or removing the phone case more difficult if there isn’t enough clearance.
Can the RHINOSHIELD Mod NX frame or backplate be replaced individually?
RHINOSHIELD Mod NX is a modular case with interchangeable frames and backplates. Can be customized.
Up to iPhone 14: Backplate and rim can’t used simultaneously.
iPhone 15 and above: Backplate snaps into frame for standard mode.
Does the RHINOSHIELD Mod NX case support wireless charging and mobile payment?
It will not affect your phone’s NFC or wireless charging functions.
But depending on factors like the NFC reader’s location, the thickness of any attached accessories, and the power of your charger or wireless charging pad.
Is the RHINOSHIELD Mod NX case compatible with MagSafe?
The Mod NX case supports MagSafe charging, though magnetic strength may vary by case. For optimal performance, we recommend our MagSafe-compatible versions for your device.
How do I clean my RHINOSHIELD Mod NX case? Can I use alcohol?
For daily cleaning, we suggest using wet wipes. To sanitize, wipe it swiftly with a cloth and a small amount of rubbing alcohol (less than 75%).
Make sure to avoid printed areas.

The best of both worlds
This is simply the best case for an IPhone. In fact, I like it so much it was one of the reasons for switching from Android (sadly it is not available for Android). Let me explain.The biggest benefit from slapping a case and a screen protector on a smartphone is that it gets protection in case of a drop, but the biggest drawback is that the phone can’t breathe, it cannot dissipate heat, and even the signal can take a hit. Smartphones with powerful chips tend to overheat, and that can significantly reduce battery longevity and even affect internal components.The Rhinoshield Mod NX case is the best of both worlds: It provides amazing protection and it lets the phone breathe, which allows the phone to stay cool and the battery to last longer. The case is raised enough on the front and back so that it won’t touch the ground in case of a drop. I’ve dropped the phone a couple of times from waist height into concrete and the phone has survived intact. Not even a scratch or bruise on the case or phone.The case also feels great in your hands, and the material makes for a wonderful grip. I can’t recommend this case enough. I hope Rhinoshield keeps making them forever.Five stars.

Fantastic! One thing to keep in mind for MagSafe Wallet Stand Users
Great bumper case! It is perfectly made to fit the phone, feels great in the hand, and definitely grippy enough. It is thick enough to feel durable although it would be nice if it was a tad thinner. It will work with a MagSafe wallet but it won’t work with a wallet stand in landscape. Otherwise, the case works with my MagSafe Duo and my Mophie MagSafe car vent phone holder with no issues!If I would suggest two changes to make this better the would be…1. A thin connecting piece below the camera bump running between both sides of the phone.- Reason: This would help reduce the potential of things sitting up against the cameras when placing the phone on its back.2. Reduce the depth/height of the side wall of at least one side of the case for a portion of a side (maybe two inches) that lineup with the MagSafe magnet.-Reason: This would allow the average wallet stand or regular stand to work with the case in landscape. It only has to be one side and it doesn’t need to run the whole length of that side so that the phone still sits flush on a service.It would be really cool if y’all could consider these changes! It would, to me, make this the ultimate bumper case!

RhinoShield: Great idea, terrible execution.
This RhinoShield case should have been an easy win. With Apple reintroducing bumper cases for the iPhone 17 Air, I expected other companies to follow suit for the 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max. Unfortunately, this isn’t a bumper case at all. It’s overly bulky, far too thick, and incompatible with wireless accessories. Immediate return. Thankfully, I had also picked up an ESR case, which ended up being the better choice.

I wish Apple made a Apple branded bumper case for the 17 Pro Max and the 17 proI love the iPhone Air bumper case and the old iPhone 4 bumper case casesThis case is meh , it’s very bulky and it falls out your hands a lot. I love that. The fact is exposed, it does protect the phone quite well around the cornersThere is a substantial amount of lip that will prevent the surfaces of the phone from impacting surfaces. It’s a little bit too bulky. I wish it was more minimalistic and a lot thinnerIt feels like your phone doubles and thickness when you have this case on it, which sometimes can be nice, but is a bit annoyingThe camera shutter button multifunction features were very well with this key the white matches the silver iPhone very well cut outs are made very well however I’m returning it due to. It’s bulky and rugged design.I’ve used this case for about a week now. I’m returning it.I feel like this case could be a lot better if they redesigned it. Definitely not worth $22. You can find something way better.

This is the only case I have used for 6 years and I drop my phone a lot! I have had zero issues with this case and won’t use anything else. Dropped it on concrete stairs last week and my phone is fine.

Uncomfortable to Hold
I really wanted to like this, but the uniform ridge all the way around the back made it really hard to hold, cramping my hand and making me feel more likely to drop the phone. The build quality, fit, and color (white on silver/white phone) were good, but it made the whole outside edge as thick as the camera bump without smoothing the inside against the back. The texture and material picked up the black color of my pants, so it almost immediately stained the white variant. This style would have been great as a Qi battery bank case or if you always have a battery pack or wallet on the back of your phone. I couldn’t take it for more than a day before swapping back to smooth silicone.

Thick but safe
I don’t need to repeat what others have already mentioned. Yes, the size is bulky for a slim phone like the iPhone Air, but it fits perfectly and provides solid protection — this brand’s bumper has saved my iPhone X several times. That’s why I decided to keep it.Still, I hope the next iteration (if RhinoShield listens to our feedback) reduces the thickness of the frame at the bottom. It’s fine to keep the extra thickness on the plateau, but the bottom doesn’t need to be just as thick — that’s where users hold the phone.Please keep up the great work!
