Good buy, works as expected and extends the life of an older TV
The unit was packed well and it came a day early. When first started it was in a loop asking for the same wifi sign on info over and over. I almost returned it but noticed a reset hole on the back. After resetting it, I was able to set it up and use it. Works well and I am happy with it.

I have ordered quite a few adapters that said they would work for my old box Panasonic TV and my new Roku. None worked. This one worked perfectly. It was easy to install (and I am tech retarded!) and now I don’t have to get rid of my perfectly good TV. The price was very high but less then having to purchase a new TV when this one works fine. FYI I don’t know the model of my TV however, I purchased it about 2000 so you are using an older TV, hopefully this helps.

CRT Smart Tv
Great product to turn your CRT TV into a Smart Tv. Has all apps that I use which are; Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, Funimation, HBO Max, Tubi, Disney Plus and Paramount+ Any shows that are 16:9 are letterboxed so still can watch on 4:3 TV. Would be best used on a widescreen CRT TV. most shows that are in 4:3 are now 16:9. example DBZ is letterboxed (16:9) when watching on my 13 inch CRT TV where dragon ball is 4:3 (fits the entire screen) so using a widescreen crt tv would get all your shows at the correct aspect ratio and also have same quality as a CRT which are best used for older shows.

I have “Smart TV’s,” but I learned that I much prefer to do streaming using a ROKU. I have given them to friends. The remote is so easy, and less steps to get to what you want than with using a Smart TV system.

Good, fairly priced, easy to use
Netflix informed me I would no longer be able to receive their stuff on my Blue Ray player. Among the four choices they listed as possible substitutes, this one had the best ratings and price. It receives sufficient power from my television, so I don’t need to plug it in. The set up was easy and it works fine.My one complaint is that videos end before I can read the credits. They reduce the “outgoing” video to a tiny screen while queuing up the next one. Cable television has the same annoying practice. I can go back to the video and FF to the credits but I don’t see why I should have to.

I have 1 and got this for my mom to upgrade hers. She was beyond thrilled w the quality of picture, ease of use and ability to access to more channels than she knew about

I purchased this product and install was very easy, however, the remote does not have a volume control, nor does it turn the tv off. Is there a new type of remote for this?
