I truly recommend this ABC book which is beautifully illustrated and guides little ones through the alphabet with lyrical grace. Each page unfurls a maritime adventure as we meet the charming alphabet characters; each with their own distinct personalities. A perfect story time choice instilling a love for letters in toddlers and preschoolers. I purchased my soft cover book and awaiting the hardcover with several children in mind!

Iām so excited!! I just received my copy of the newly minted āSailing the ABCs an Alphabet Adventure Story for Children,ā from Amazon a few minutes ago. This beautifully written story is told in lyrical verse with captivating illustrations! In the back of the book are activities for children to do which ultimately asks the reader to delve back into the book to hunt for answers. Also each letter of the alphabet is drawn in a color that starts with the same letter name. How clever!! Finally there are written and illustrated directions to make your own origami sailboat! How fun for our emergent literates!! Heyā¦ now this would definitely make a fantastic Holiday gift!!

This is a delightful, rhyming book to introduce your child to the ABCs. It is one that they will want to read again and again.
