Buyer be aware
I used this product for less than an 8 hour work day. When the device is off the massager do not retract and puts a ton of pressure on your back. I was replacing my old chair massager for something that I thought was better and wasn’t. Not to mention it was a fraction of the cost and the massager retracted. My back STILL hurts and I removed it from my chair at least 6 hours ago. The neck massagers zipper is in a poor place and scratches neck. The vibration and heating was sufficient though. I do not recommend and I’m returning ASAP! Please keep in my I almost never do reviews but this was a must because it cost so much and is worthless.

Talking about PAIN!
I bought this massager for my husband who has sciatica. He wanted the massager to go up to his shoulders and further down his back, but was disappointed that it didn’t. A couple of days ago I tried it out. Talking about PAIN! I have a boney back and those massage balls dug in and I almost jumped out of my seat! Now I have soreness today, but yesterday, I had to take required Ibuprofen. This was a bad experience for me but maybe if you have meat on your bones, it won’t be so bad.

The Neck Functionality Puts This Over The Top
I’ve had 3 shaitsu massagers in the last 15 years., so Im pretty experienced with these. I still have one of them in my office. They’ve come down a bunch in price since 15 years ago. This one is by far the best, most comprehensive one Ive had. With the others, to get my neck, I had to slide down in the chair into a position thays decidedly not good for my back, and even then, they wouldn’t really fully massage it properly. Not the case for this one. The neck functionality is outstanding. It hit not just the back of my neck, but the corners too, and thats what hurts the most. And the fact that its adjustable actually allows me to hit my traps; muscles ive never been to get to with anything besides a massage gun. Ive have DDD and a pinched nerve in my neck, so that’s a crucial and appreciated function for me. The main 8 rotating balls are way more than the 2 or the 4 Ive had in the past, and I can’t definitely feel it. My back needs it ROUGH, so the additional ones really help. Theres a couple heat settings, a bunch of vibration settings and a few strength and area settings. I of course put it on max strength, and I feel much better afterwards. Of course that doesnt last long because im old, but thats life haha. The only slight issue I have is that when you set them to stay on a specific spot, they go halfspeed for some reason. Thats really nbd though, because it still gets the job done well. This is the fiest one ive had that cones with the car adapter, which is awesome. Mind you, if you have a long drive of any kind you want to make sure theres an open spot to put it, because none of these shaitsu massgers are comfortable when they aren’t running. Lastly, it seems very well made, but of course, only time will tell. Ive had great luck with 2 of the other 3 ive owned, and I dont anticipate this one being any different.
