Great Stand, very sturdy
I love this one! Finally a laptop stand that is steady, it doesn’t move around, laptop doesn’t move, stays put, adjustable. Great!

Perfect for 14″ Laptop (or slightly larger)
Very happy with this item. I use a 14″ laptop with closed lid, connected to a dock, while working. The laptop serves as the hard drive for my CPA firm, and I work off a peripheral keyboard and multiple large monitors. I need to be able to take the computer home and to client sites thus the laptop and not a tower. This stand is perfect for raising the laptop off my desk providing circulation underneath the laptop. The stand has a footprint that is not much bigger than the laptop itself thus taking up a very small amount of real estate on my desk. The stand is very sturdy and the multiple adjustment settings are nice (I only use one setting but the stand can be positioned at multiple angles). Highly recommend.

I just love this
I am someone who uses their laptop almost 100% of the time on their literal lap, so the majority of the laptop coolers**/stands out there weren’t going to work (since they didn’t have flat bottoms). The design of this is exactly what I was looking for, something to support the laptop, and also create some breathing room underneath.I was afraid something made entirely of metal was going to be too heavy, but it was actually lighter than hardcover book & old broken laptop cooler I cobbled together before getting this. The mesh & edges sometimes leave press-marks on my (exposed) thighs after long period, but not anything that actually hurts (I just want to be honest about a “side effect”).The little flap in the front to prevent sliding is perfectly flush with my specific laptop, so that hasn’t been an issue with me (& personally I’d be comfortable using a tool to cut part of it away, if it wasn’t). I should say that sometimes (though not often) the bar pops out of the last (lowest sitting) rung, and it collapses down – but I’m pretty sure it’s just when I’m sitting with my legs in a crooked fashion (this thing is so nice, I feel like I can sit any which way), as it’s never happened when it’s sitting on a table/desk. I wouldn’t lower the rating because of this.**On the note of coolers (with fans built in, etc), for anyone who comes across this researching their own way to cool their laptop — forget them. If your laptop is like mine (draw in from the bottom, vent out the back), most of them wouldn’t work anyway (most push air away from the bottom of the laptop). But even if that wasn’t an issue, any test I could find showed they didn’t decrease the temperature of the CPU or GPU. The best you can do is just provide good ventilation space, and make changes on the computer’s end (Throttle Stop is a great, free, program to undervolt the CPU which can drastically reduce overheating). This is affordable and does the former thing very well.

Lightweight stand for couch or recliner computing
It’s light, fits the laptop and evens out the computer’s weight when it’s used in one’s actual lap. I use an old school Thinkpad for a second screen when being lazy in the reclining chair. Mesh lets the vents vent, the flip-up stop at the wrist rest works great for me since this is not used with a thin laptop. Minus a star for some sloppy welding at the hinged end, and not quite even.

Simple and cheap and just about perfect
I bought this as an experiment, to see if I liked the whole idea of elevating my laptop screen and connecting a full-size keyboard and mouse. For the price, I figured that if it just didn’t work out, no great loss.It did work out just fine, and now I’m a fan. It’s as simple as could be, with no wasted parts or expense. The adjustments should accommodate various tastes in elevation. The materials are durable and easily cleaned. It’s easily portable should I need that. It looks like something from Office Depot, but who cares, it’s hidden by the laptop anyway. I can’t see replacing it with any of the aluminum beauties that sell for multiples more. We’ll see how it holds up over years; it’s certainly not over-built, with nothing made thicker than it needs to be, but it’s not like a Thinkpad is going to strain the hinges.

Great Lightweight Laptop Stand
Great find! I use my laptop on my lap which is on a small pillow. I needed something that would not block the laptop air vents and keep it cool. This is lightweight, allows air flow, adjustable, portable and inexpensive. Fits my 14″ inch laptop with a ~half inch of stand on either side. The foldable lip easily supports the laptop. Took a while sorting through innumerable stand options before finding this one. Only small negative is at the smallest elevation, the laptop is still raised about three inches.A review mentioned that there is a flip up tab that holds the laptop in place and that it is too high for their wrist. I agree it is high for a ultra thin laptop. My fixes are I either leave it folded under while on my lap or flip it over so that the bottom is up and the lip slightly raises the stand. This works better for me because I use the stand on my lap and I do not need the much elevation. As to other reports it scratches the bottom of the laptop, I see nothing on either side of the stand that scratches so the design must have changed since that review was written.

SimpleHouseware Laptop Stand with 11-Levels Adjustable Computer Holder for Desk/Book/Tablet Support, BlackI Use this for a 16″ MSI laptop. It is sturdy, has a bunch of different possible height adjustments and a wide lip/edge with non-slip padding to keep a laptop in place at even an extreme angle. (My laptop is a workhorse – not thin – and so it has a tendency to slide right off of the other two stands I’ve had because the lip/edge is too narrow.)The metal “mesh” it’s made of is sturdy and light and allows for good cooling. It folds down nice and flat.I’m really happy with it.

I bought it for my samsung tablet and I can fit mobile phone on top. Bought lots of mobile phone stands but this works better for me more stable it is for laptop, is plenty big enough for it too. Truly happy with it.

Product appears to be well made & is certainly ideal for 13/14″ laptops as they sit neatly on the on the top section of the product.I certainly recommend this product for those who wish to have a bit of air flow space around their laptop as it lifts laptop base off a flat surface such as a desk allowing for better airflow thus enhancing the ability of the laptop to keep cool.
